Goodwill in Simpsonville they closed 20 minutes ago and there's one young lady at the register by herself doing a great job. There's no one else in the store to help her. I went in the back to try to find another employee and couldn't find anyone. There's 13 people standing in line with buggies full of clothes to check out. This Is RIDICULOUS. Goodwill makes enough money on all the clothes and other items that are GIVEN to them to pay someone to come in here and help this young lady do her job. I applaud her for doing a great job. I would have walked out already.

This location seems to be experiencing an identity crisis. They seem to think they are an antique store and not a thrift store serving its community. Charging $200 for a small, scratched curio cabinet with missing hardware, $300 for an old rug that has bulls and stains, and $200 for a model plane, . . . Who ever is in charge of the pricing at this location is beyond insane and insulting.

Cluttered shelves, high prices, dirty bathroom, and who brings $500 to a goodwill??? Used to be a great store. What happened?

I've got to be honest, I don't know how this store is still operational. We used to able to find various items like toys, some electronics, shoes, and clothes. Now for the past few months, they have had the same directv receiver and broken printer, hardly any shoes at all (and the ones that are there are extremely beat) and the clothing has been a disorganized mess. On top of that, the middle shelves are baren. They could condess all the shelves down to one and have room leftover. As of one day ago, here are some things I noticed:

5 - 10 golf clubs in 10 separate bins in the back, all from the 80's 5 big toys on the top shelf with busted super soakers below Hats with stains See above about electronics No Sneakers above yard duty quality A few Mugs, pots, and a pan or two spread out over three shelves Books and movies mixed in together Two sets of skis priced at $200 a piece (that is not a typo)

Seriously, the last few times I went in there I left with nothing and after this last time, I don't see...

This Goodwill location is very cluttered and dirty. The shelves are extremely messy and unorganized. However, there is usually a decent selection of items and it's a great place to find cheap/affordable used clothes. The prices are usually fair for smaller items like dishes, books, wrapping paper, etc. Larger items like kitchen tables, entertainment centers, and other large furniture seem to be priced a little high for what they are worth. This location also sells "new" clothes or slightly damaged home goods from Target. The front staff is usually friendly, but checkout takes a little long (I don't mind waiting but others in line often complain about the wait and the fact that there is typically only one register open.) This location does accept donations (drop off is located behind the building) and most things can be returned or exchanged after purchase...

Visited this store a few times. Staff inside was always polite and store is generally organized. Drop off experience is different all together. I made three visits in the past two months to drop donations off, and each time the staff has been rude. One girl in particular was cursing about me while I was in ear shot because I initially wasn’t sure where the drop off location was and was driving too slowly and “not listening to her.” The other two times I was met with hostility because I asked if they wanted help getting items out of my car and they responded with, “don’t bother, you couldn’t bother to organize this fitting in your car anyway” and the two ladies continued to discuss how “customers don’t understand and suck.” Very uncomfortable experiences overall. I didn’t want to write this location off, but I will not be going back after this...
