Little Chicago Deli — Restaurant in Sioux City

I understand this place was good when it was around in the 90s/early 00s. Came back for the nostalgia factor of the food from what I remember when it was good. Went today knowing that since they partially reopened to online orders only they could be busy and have to wait longer than usual for your order. That's fine, no probably waiting. We were told in 20 minutes your order will be ready and upon arrival were told to wait, and we waited an additional 15 minutes inside. That's fine too, we understand your busy. We received our order and assumed everything was accurate and correct given the wait time and this establishments reputation in the past. Boy we were wrong and had a few minor disappointments when opening up our order. When you are ordering 3 sandwiches and pay $60 you would think any thought or care would go into your order. This was not the case with Little Chicago Deli. Though the bread was fresh, each sandwich ordered was wrong. Wrong toppings, no cheese and wrong bread. Just seems that when it's a simple sandwich shop you would consider making your primary product correctly for each guest. I mean, we ordered online and it just seems to be that the staff there are ill-equipped to read a ticket and execute any orders properly. I was home in town visiting family and we were all looking forward to this experience together after hearing thru word of mouth that the food was good and tastes like it used to. If they are still here in the future I might come back and give them a second chance. If they last that long given how today's order turned out, I wonder if this happens to everyone. Chicken dumpling soup was more like thick chunky dumpling all the way through. It was thicker than a pot pie. I heard someone call in about the soup while I was waiting. They acted like it wasn't a big deal and what ever. Asked for no ham on the sandwich they left it on. For how much it cost compared to other places I would expect a little better.
