Great coffee, reliable Wi-Fi, and a welcoming atmosphere for working, reading, or writing or just hag out with couple, friends or family. Laptops are allowed, and the space is thoughtfully designed with a variety of table sizes—ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups. The café is bright and airy, with high ceilings and abundant natural light that create an inspiring environment. They offer coffee bags from different origins, along with a well-curated coffee and tea menu. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We visited twice in one day—first for our morning coffee, then returned for lunch—and spent several peaceful, productive hours here. The energy of the space made working enjoyable and effortless. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a comfortable and inspiring place to work or relax.

In the pursuit of an excellent cup of coffee, I take advantage of living on the road. Today found me downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We made our way into THE SOURCE coffee roastery and tap room. A Bright, sunlight, corner location, the building had amazing natural light and great vibe. We ordered a breve and a cafe miel. I deliberately seek out locations that roast coffee, because without question, I'm guaranteed a fresher cup of coffee. This location does not disappoint. The espresso is Rich and balanced, and not charcoaly. The barista carefully crafted our drinks and executed flawless espresso art. Great art is not necessary, but it adds to the ambience and experience. Take it from me, this needs to be your go-to location for great coffee.

I had the Resolve. This instantly hit the top of my list! House made Turmeric Latte with Cayenne and sea salt espresso and milk. I had it made with Oat milk and an extra shot of espresso. From the first sip, the sea salt does it's job of enhancing the flavors of the turmeric and cayenne.. very smooth! Expertly crafted by the barista (as seen in the photo) and a big congratulations to the barista/ mixologist who created this amazing latte! Will definitely be hitting this up again before I leave.

"A SMALL PLACE WITH A BIG PERSONALITY'"

This review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion.

I've been many times to Sioux Falls but yesterday, 1/7/2023, was my first at the "The Source Coffee Roastery + Taproom".

I was looking for a Coffee shop and this place popped up on my google search, and the odd part is they had positive reviews only. I got there at around 3pm and the place was packed, I had 5 customers waiting ahead of me while most of the customers stood by the counter with their glass of Beer or cold brew while chatting with their friends.......what strikes you immediately when you walk in is that everybody is super-relaxed, friendly, happy and smiling, which is definitely a good sign when checking out a new place.

PLACE: Cute place, modern-industrial look with a high-end design vibe. Minimally furnished but yet cozy and comfy. The grey ceiling, the white walls and the tiles/stone mounted around the counter make the room cold, and to compensate that they could use the "green" of some live plants, like Succulents, to bring some warmth. I love the huge amount of light coming in from the big window that overlooks the street and I personally consider the fixture a real delight. It is a small area, but you can easily sit 40 customers. I would also add just a few armchairs and a couch, maybe with a rug.

FOOD: They do not have much when it comes to food, I have seen two options only for the customers that drink beer and wine and for the ones that enjoy a sweet treat there are some muffins, bars and other packaged bakery products, like croissants.

DRINKS: Alcoholics: They have a big Selection of Beer, Wine, soft drinks and club soda..... and many other Specialty drinks. There is an entire wall, with a big selection that offers 16 unique styles of craft beer sourced from artisan breweries, where you can select the one you like, scan your prepaid card and draft yourself a glass (Taproom). I found it pretty cool actually. COFFEE: they have a pretty good selection of Coffee beans from different regions of the world, and they roast it themselves. I always consider in-house-roasting a great "plus" for a high-end Coffee shop. Their selection of Coffee-based drinks (Hot/Cold) is pretty big. I loved their cappuccino and the "LONDON FOG" tea...

LOCATION: it is downtown Sioux Falls and it is located in a multi-business kind of building. inside the same building is a restaurant, a craft store and something else.

STUFF: The girls that work there are just amazing.... friendly yet professional, sunny, knowledgeable when it comes to the products they sell.... today, they realized we were distracted, and they brought the drinks to our table, very kind of them. and I am pretty sure that everybody agrees when I say that "We all love our coffee when it's served with a big smile". Two of the girls went above and beyond by helping me and my friend finding a good ethnic restaurant in town. I do not know their names but thank you for your help regardless.

CLEANLINESS: very clean, tables, benches, floor, even the windows. The girls are always around cleaning and picking up glasses and mugs when they are not making drinks and serving.

PRICES: if you consider the quality they offer, prices can be considered lower than average.

KIDS/PETS: They are kids and pets friendly.

CONCLUSION: definitely a MUST-GO coffee shop if you are in Sioux Falls, especially if you want to relax, drink a very good coffee or a glass of beer and enjoy the...

What a cool vibe this place has. I'm normally a coffee purist and steer away from "coffee drinks" but I decided to give it a try on this visit.

They've figured out how to make coffee based drinks that are more about flavor than sugar. I tasted the "Earth Child" which is a matcha green tea drink that I will order on a future visit when I've had enough coffee.

The baristas are exceptional. They listen, engage, and they know their products. Best of all they aren't coffee snobs who make curious customers feel stupid for asking questions.

I would highly recommend this coffee shop to people who truly enjoy coffee as well as those who are interested in learning about good coffee and the many different ways to enjoy it.

I truly enjoy coffee and have explored it around the world. This is only the second coffee shop I've found in Sioux Falls where it is fun to experience coffee that is well roasted and well brewed.

Nice job to the person who came up with the idea of a coffee shop and tap room. I haven't tried the beers but I'm comfortable giving high praise to the coffee section.

Kudos to the baristas, Hayden and Karissa for exceptional service and a delicious drink respectively. The Earth Child was...

I love the friendly staff and awesome drinks! The Source is the crown jewel of Jones421.

It's just a shame their property manager is such a busybody. She actually interrupted a conversation I was having in the common area to scold my friend for bringing in their own drink. She lectured us on and on about how we were "robbing the businesses of their livelihood" and bemoaned that they've had "lots of problems" with people hanging around and not buying things. I'm not sure how being pushy and rude to random people is going to remedy this.

More importantly, why is this my problem? Why is this woman treating her clients' customers and potential customers like children? I can only imagine what the business owners have to put up with if she feels the need to micromanage their patrons.

Again, no complaints about The Source. But I sincerely hope the business owners of Jones421 call out their passive-aggressive landlady before she drives away all...
