Boki Gelato — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

My family and I were in Sioux Falls doing some recon prior to moving there and I read about Boki and checked out their website prior to our trip and it looked amazing. What we experienced when we actually got there was not I'm afraid. The website leads you to believe it is a restaurant and gelateria but what it actually is is 2 separate places in one building. One making savory food, mostly gyros it looked like and the other space with the gelato and it felt like a mini food court in a mall. The other thing is that on the website they make it look like they got a dozen or more flavors. The reality is that they actually had several empty spots in their freezer and it was apparently not working well or wasn't turned up enough because the half dozen flavors that were available were melty. It turned out to be over 80°F that day so I went ahead and got us some anyway and I have to say that for all of the negative stuff I've mentioned so far, the pineapple flavor that I got was really good. Intensely pineapple with nice chunks of pineapple in it. My daughter got strawberry and it was also intensely strawberry with nice chunks of berry in it. We also visited their little kiosk in the mall which also had disappointingly few flavors, but what we had, especially the fruit flavors, were good enough that despite all the negative aspects I've mentioned, we will visit them again once we move there just for the...

Great place to get gelato and or made to order European street food. The gyros are a make your own for $9.99 a plate with fries. Whichi is pretty good I'd say it's about a pound or maybe a half lamb or what ever meat you choose. I mean I was in there just today and I seen a gentleman order 1 then go back and order another it was so good. I got gelato and a gyro both were great. I stopped by here after eating at the Boki European street food restaurant. It was fantastic. There were multiple flavors to choose from and can confirm that the bubblegum gelato does taste like bubblegum. They do offer free samples and I did try a couple flavors. All were excellent.
