You know, it's a nice location. I brought a family ring in for resizing, after 20 minutes of back and fourth on the ring, I was told you couldn't resize it because certain stones can't take the heat. That you guys only resize rings with diamonds. The stone in question is cubic zirconia. So I drove over to helzberg at the mall and asked the same question, "Can you resize this ring? Riddles told us that the stones can't take the heat." They looked puzzled and told us the only time it couldn't be resized depends on the actual material of the band, it doesn't revolve around the stones. They got our ring checked in quickly, told us that they're glad that they could take care of us with this sentimental piece of jewelry. I also checked with Zales, they were willing to resize the ring as well. I get it if you guys didn't want to resize it, but you could have been straight forward from the get go that you only resize rings with diamonds. That would have made this a different story. Instead, the gist I got from you guys was, it's impossible in general due to the stones, the only option is to get another ring. I now know that isn't always true. It was pretty disheartening to see a company turn down a customer because they didn't bring in a diamond ring. It might be a good investment for you guys to reconsider in the future for other customers, or at least be honest and recommend other retailers that can provide the service they're looking for instead of making them feel like it's not a possibility in general. If I had followed your recommendations, I would have had another ring that I actually didn't need to get. Zales and helzberg both offer ring resizing for any stone as long as the band meets their metal requirements, those are great options. Rings can be sentimental no matter what material. In the future, if I'm in the market for a new ring, I know where I will be going. And it...
Read moreDont talk to ANNIE. Shes pretty terrible at what she does. Everytime ive been in and talk to her shes stuck up/rude. She truly doesnt care about your customers. Wow, knowledgeable and truly caring for a customer are completely different. I can do a better job at showing empathy for someones situation. Buying a ring of course youre going to treat them like royalty to get their buy and work with them on what they want. But by golly gee when it comes to wanting to do the right thing and help customers with problems is the last on your list. I had to pretty much beg and keep proving different points to show I was right. I called another jewelry company by accident and explained the problem and the representive showed empathy, ackbowledged, and told me not to worry because everything should be in the system to look up and should never have to worry about it going forward. Then found out i wasnt talking to riddles. Boy do i wish i would have purchased my ring else where. Ive spent over $20k and im still not treated like im valued. More so along lines of dirt. Just an ant in the crowd. Your not buying? Riddles doesnt care then about your situation....
Read moreWhen we went to get my engagement ring and wedding ring together, they needed 2 weeks to get things done, rather than other places with a couple hours or days. When I went to pick up my ring, they were put together crooked (a whole diamond off and the heart on the inside of the ring didn't match up) and there was approximately 2 mm space between the rings. I was not happy and wouldn't accept it. The worker had the goldsmith fix it and it looked much better after that. Being they had me sign all paperwork I had to wait for my ring to be completed before leaving. I went on my lunch break and was late being back to work. They said give them 15 minutes and 25 minutes later they were done. I can't believe the goldsmith left a ring looking like that and it made it through all the way to me. Was happy that they were able to get it back to me looking how it was...
