Brought in 4 tires and balancing beads to be installed on and in my rear tires of my commercial truck. Went to pickup truck and not only did they strip one of my studs they didn't even install the balancing beads I brought to them (cost me $70 bucks for the beads which basically they stole from me). I had to remove one of the rear tires to fix the stud and when I did I noticed that I don't have my balancing beads in the tires (for you can't hear them inside; I could on my trailer tires and there was less in them) and the special valve stem that was part of the kit was not installed or even the caps. The first sign was no caps (that came with the kit) and so when I removed the tire I removed the valve stem to verify. Before I left there I asked for the lug nut (for i noticed one was missing) they said they threw it away and gave me the wrong one that was also the wrong size (found out after I left). I have had issues in the past with this store and they now sealed the deal me and I'm never going back. I do not recommend going here unless you like sub par work if they even do the work. I'm a mechanic and have seen a lot of shady work and the only reason why I originally took the tires to them is because it was larger than the tools I have to remove and install. When I called the AutoZone in Lake Stevens to try and get a new nut they said you can go to Les Schwab and we explained the situation and the person at AutoZone in Lake Stevens worked at the one in Lake Stevens and heard of all kinds of issues with the Snohomish store and recommends the Lake Stevens one. So if you want a Les Schwab go to Lake Stevens and stay far away from this...
Read moreI got a giant bolt in the tire and it was going flat. I was on the highway and limped into LS. I live over 45 min from LS of Snohomish and came here because it was the closest place while loosing air. I just needed my tire taken off, or at least the lug nuts loosened so I could put on the spare and mosey on North. They told me it would be "hours" before they could help me. I am over 60 and can not remove the lug nuts. (Had a flat last year so I know this) My husband drove over an hour in traffic to remove the tire in the LS Parking lot. Took him less than 8 min start to finish and all I really wanted was the lug nuts removed. I waited in the lobby and I guess I could give 2 stars for the bathroom, AC and popcorn but the front desk help was not your super friendly let me see if I could help you get this done. I was totally willing to leave the tire since they were busy, I just wanted my spare on so I could get going. As I write this I would still be waiting if it were not for the most patient kind husband, who is also over 60 and rescued me twice in a year. LS typically has friendlier front desk help. After he threw the damaged tire back into the back of car, I drove to Discount Tire. I needed a new tire. Job is done. I say...head on North and try Discount Tire. They were equally if not more hurried than LS of Snohomish but made their way thru the...
Read moreWish I could do less than one star due to the fact that they charged me $240 for a battery install, then charged me $10 for the battery when I told them I didn’t want the battery since they claimed they couldn’t do the work that the truck was at the shop for. So they refused to give it the alignment I wanted before taking my vehicle to chelan and towing my trailer over the pass, because they said parts were installed wrong. The weird part is that the les Schwab in chelan had no problem doing the alignment. In fact took them about 30 Mindoro do it. But my experience doesn’t stop there. So as I start driving my truck and trailer to lake chelan my whole front right of my truck locks up on the hwy with my whole family in the vehicle. It happened because they didn’t put one screw back in my new expensive aftermarket caliper. And the top bolt of the was half way of the hole. So the caliper fell off and locked my wheel up so it couldn’t rotate. So it damaged the caliper and rotor and my inner rim. All this and forced me to buy a battery. I was fortunate enough that my trailer didn’t flip or get in a serious accident. Was very close to head on collision due to the wheel locking up on hwy 2. But never going back to les Schwab in Snohomish again. I have had other bad experiences there where they broke parts and wouldn’t replace it after they...
