Getting your own hair done by a stranger is a leap of faith, but finding someone you can trust to lighten your teen's hair is a totally different story and fear! My daughter was wanting a pretty heavy foil look before going back to school, so we were searching for stylists in our area that could accommodate her schedule as well as have great reviews from previous clients. I'm so so so glad we stumbled upon Amber. This lady took darn near 30 minutes to talk on the phone about what my daughters goals were, avenues we could take to get there, never once made me feel like I was wasting her time, and most importantly - treated my 14 year old like she would any other adult client who was putting their trust in her hands. On the day of the appt, she spent a good amount of time getting familiar with my daughters hair, the health, structure, etc etc, and then game planned the best way to get to the end goal - even though it was a slightly different path than we initially thought we'd be taking. The space is super inviting, her demeanor is welcoming and kind, and her work is beautiful! In the end - she made my daughter feel like she was worth the time she spent on her, and made me feel comfortable that we could trust where she was taking us.
