The staff was very unwelcoming, didn’t have a clear system, then proceeded that it was our fault they brought out extra tacos. They brought out the first 4 tacos 20 minutes before the rest of the food on a plate for here, then brought the rest of the food out in togo containers even though we were eating there. The order was wrong- I ordered asada and received chicken (which is less money than we had paid for the asada tacos) but after waiting so long I ate it anyways and didn’t mention it. The man then came and confronted me about the extra tacos in our order that THEY packed and acted irritated and didn’t inform them. I believe they wanted to give them to another customer after they were already in my hands which definitely doesn’t follow appropriate hygiene. After the meal we walked around the town and on returning the man told the female worker, “oh that’s them” while pointing at my family after we just spent $60 on the wrong order. This place gave me food poisoning! This was my first time trying this place and I got sick. On August 10th I ordered the taco plate-2 chicken, 2 Al pastor (pork) tacos. I ate one chicken taco which was not seasoned at all then took a bite of the Al pastor and again no real flavor so I throw the whole thing away. At 3am the following day I was awoken with sharp abdominal pain and diarrhea. I went to the ER because of the pain and symptoms I was having and continue to have. I have a referral for GI due to this place. This was the only thing I ate on the 10th so I know all these issues is due to this food. Honestly this food was complete a$$. Taco Bell was better and I paid $20 for one steak burrito WITHOUT cheese. Lettuce was nasty worse than Taco Bell lettuce, the meat was well overcooked to where it was extra dark and hard and the whole thing was gross i had to re gut the burrito and try to to burrito surgery to fix it but couldn’t revive. This place was terrible and I regret not just going to Rio Bravo but thought I’d give them a shot. I ate at home tonight it literally was that bad wilty warm nasty lettuce overcooked low quality meat slop. I’d feed it to a dog.
