ABSOLUTE DUMP. We called ahead to reserve lanes for a Friday afternoon and were surprised to hear it wasn't necessary. When we arrived, we understood why. This place is a dump. 6 dark, grungy, dirty lanes. Two were non-functional. Our 'functional' lanes randomly reset pins between throws completely screwing up any chance of keeping score. When the staff observed the resetting glitches, they shrugged and offered "2 more minutes" of playtime as compensation for the 'pay by the hour' system. For serious issues where the pins didn't reset (even with the reset button) - which happened every 5-6 throws - the staff had to climb into the mechanism further frustrating the evening. Keeping score was done on cheap tablets using different free software than the adjacent lane. The bowling balls accumulated nasty grease and grime with each return making our hands and fingers filthy. I wanted to buy a Sahara Pizza so badly since fond memories of them in Duvall, but the filth of the place was too much of a turnoff to attempt food service on top of the bad bowling service. A positive: At the end, the staff offered a gift certificate for a future visit, but the experience was so awful I asked for a refund. There wasn't a way to refund a credit card charge, so the staff member pulled $20 from the pizza cash drawer and we both called it good. If you're inebriated, live in a dump , don't mind grime and keeping score isn't your thing while bowling, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, consider checking out another...
Read moreA real adventure as they said they were under new management, not in a good way...I think the one good thing about this place was that we didn't have a horrible time, but there isn't a lot to like. The parking lot is full of pot holes and not paved. Inside is a step back in time to the 60's, in a way that hasn't really been kept up. The balls are very old and pitted, the floor is ancient and our lane had a slant. You'll need to keep score with paper and pencil. The machines messed up several times and cleaned up the remaining pins after only one throw which wasn't a huge deal for the kids but wouldn't fly for someone trying to keep score. The lighting is very dark and the black lights aren't really enough to make the environment pleasing. The music kept cutting out, stuttering and we could hear static almost like the speakers weren't getting enough power due to the bass peaking the power needs of the system. Their prices are right in line with Tech City Bowl where we had a much better time. They weren't going to honor a coupon from our Entertainment book until we complained, then they said they would do it "just this one time". Their stand up games were up for sale and non-functional, nor did they have food options worth looking at. No other interesting things for the kiddos to do so we won't be going back there again...
Read moreWe came here for my sons birthday a few weeks ago, and this place is a great little spot with SOOOO much potential, we did the birthday package 79.99 for 5 ppl, it’s an hr of bowling, shoes included, a pitcher of soda and a large pizza. I think it ended up being about $92 all together. It was a week day when we went….around 3:00 so we were the only ones bowling. There’s I believe six lanes, you use a pad with an app to keep score…….guy said it used to be paper. The first few bowls were a learning curve but we picked it up pretty quick. There was only 1 person working at that time, but again we were the only ones. Pizza was shockingly good; I myself killed 4 pieces, there’s also a taco truck that smelled absolutely amazing, my only issue was the time of day for us lined up with traffic on railroad ave (4:30ish) and it took us a good almost 10 min to get out of the parking lot because no one would let us in….. lol! Great spot to just have some fun. We will be back now that we have been here. We definitely live in an age where nothing is good enough for anyone, don’t let the negativity reviews (because some are a little funny) turn you away from this place. I’m sure it’s hard enough right now to...
