Coffee is great, but I would be wary of one man who works there (he isn't the owner). Besides myself, he was consistently demeaning, condescending, and overall unprofessional toward customers. I politely asked if I could film him making the coffee, excluding his face, and instead of a simple "no" he repeated (paraphrasing),"Filming strangers is weird". I replied with a simple "That's okay" and "I respect your boundaries", but the fourth time he said an emphasized "No, I'm TELLING you its strange." I settled in to check my maps and genuinely enjoyed the mocha he made, so I complimented him, "Man, this is good, it doesn't even taste like coffee, but more like hot chocolate." He offered to put one more shot of expresso in it, and I said I have a sensitivity to caffeine so this was enough. He goes on to stare me dead in my eyes and offer the expresso shot three times, geez. I respond each time with a "no, thank you", infront of the customer he also was rude toward. I went on my way to my hike, and I got to say it was lovely, there was only that one bad apple who probably just needs to talk to someone. Wary travelers be wary of that employee, haha. He might bite, but his coffee is great! My trip was fun regardless and I forgive him, so leaving this lengthy story of my...
Read moreFood was amazing!! The patio is a Rustic Chic without starring at a parking lot. The had board games and lawn games to keep us busy while we waited for our food. The tables outside had both covered and non covered options. It was a very chill and relax sort of place.
Had to knock off a star because of service. I went on a Tuesday for early lunch. The SINGLE person working as the waiter, cashier, cook, and barista was really nice but overwhelmed. They were out of ingredients so 2 of the 3 things I ordered couldn't be made. The paninis were suppose to come with green salad and potatoe salad but we only ended up with potato salad. It was a good size scoop so I'm giving them a benefit of a doubt that at least they doubled our potato salad portion to compensate. The gave us our food on take our boxes because they ran out of plates (before the big lunch crowd??). I assume that's cause the single person is also the dishwasher. PLEASE HIRE...
Read moreWe'll try to keep this short and sweet, but we're a nonprofit that had a weekend meeting out in Snoqualmie (at another nonprofit), and one of our employees who lives out that way recommended The Bindlestick.
We weren't sure they would do catering (it would have been for about 15 people), and it turns out they had never done it before. But they were willing to try!
Long story short, they took our order, called a day before to confirm, provided napkins, sides, everything we needed. Presentation was great. They even gave us some vegetarian options which we did not see on the online menu. And everyone in the meeting raved about the food. Embarrassed to say there are no pictures of the food because it went so quickly. Just the one showing all the containers right before...
