Happy Vitality Massage Spa — Attraction in South Bradenton

I booked an hour long massage. I got there at 4:57, quickly filed out the paperwork and had to wait 10 minutes to go back. Once I got back, I changed and waited another 10 minutes for someone to return so at this point it’s 5:25. Which up until now is fine. Once the lady was there, she was jerking her hands back and forth and moving so quickly, and not taking her time. It was incredibly uncomfortable and was the most unpeaceful experience. For a one hour, full body massage, I expected to lay on stomach and back to get my feet, hands, biceps, forearms, and quads fully, and didn’t receive any of that. My massage ended at 6:05. Given it didn’t start until 5:25, it was NOT an hour long. It was incredibly dissatisfying. Went to the front to pay and the lady was hovering at the checkout making it incredibly uncomfortable when it came to choosing a tip amount. This would have been a 5-star experience, but a couple of things detracted from our couples massage. While the staff was very friendly and accommodating, there were two issues. First, the loud "Welcome" message that played every time someone opened the door made it difficult to fully relax. Second, my husband's massage therapist repeatedly left the room whenever someone entered the spa. Even more disruptive, she answered the phone in the massage room while continuing to work on him, and he mentioned she talked quite a bit throughout the massage. I went there today for a massage expecting to pay $95 for a 90-minute massage as advertised on their website. When I went to check out I was charged $125 and I brought this to the attention of the woman that the register and she told me that they have not updated the prices on the website yet and she would tell the owner. I still gave her a tip for her services but I was overcharged for the original service.
