Relaxation Foot Spa — Attraction in South Hill

We chose this massage place because of the amazing reviews, but after our experience there, I am genuinely confused by the number of glowing reports about this place. While the actual quality of a massage is subjective, and I would say mine was just north of terrible, there's a list of other issues: 1. A 60 min Chinese foot massage typically includes time spent on your entire body (both in China and here in the states), yet when we referred to this, they were very put out by it despite the fact that I called to confirm before coming in. 2. It was only 50 min because they wanted to get to the walk-ins that came in after us. 3. Even though there was a room with two beds nextdoor, they placed us in a private room with three beds. Halfway through our massage they added someone to the third bed in our room. Nevermind that in times of COVID this seems like a poor decision, but it was just weird to suddenly have a stranger in our room. It's not like this is a place with a large open space, there was a door on the room and everything. This may be a normal practice for them, but it felt very awkward and uncomfortable to us. 4. The aforementioned walk-ins began playing loud music on their phone, but the staff never asked them to turn it down or off, ruining any tranquility of the space. 5. They charge a hefty 3% processing fee to use a card and run debit cards as credit in order to still charge the fee. I know many places do this, but it doesn't make it any...

I paid with credit card with no extra fee. I enjoyed an uncommonly excellent massage provided by a competent, skillful massage therapist at an uncommonly reasonable price.

The place is clean, feels safe and offers a variety of packages. I chose combo A, which was 30 min foot massage followed by 60 min body massage. One unique thing I haven't seen before is the foot massage stations are each in the massage rooms, not in a separate location like most other places like this. Another difference compared to other places is the drape you use to cover yourself is a standard towel sized cloth which doesn't necessarily offer full coverage. After giving birth, I was sore all over and had a weak constitution. I found a massage shop. Oh my god. This is not a massage, this is life-saving. I couldn't stand up because of back pain after taking care of my child, so I came here. At first, I felt pain wherever the masseur pressed, but I knew it was because I was sick. So my meridians were blocked. I endured the pain. After an hour of massage with hot stones, my pain gradually subsided and my whole body became hot! This is true!
