Midvale City Park — Attraction in South Jordan

I take my kids here sometimes. There are two playgrounds. There is one closer to Center Street. And the other one is further back behind the Boys and Girls Club. The park in the back has been fixed up a bit. They have added in disc golf in the park. It's been nice seeing people at this park playing disc golf. Before the disc golf was built, I felt like it was a pretty empty park and a bit sketchy at times.

The splash pad is open right now as of June 2022, and it has been literally littered with trash. I have taken my kids a few times already this summer season and have seen garbage on every occasion littered in and around the splash pad. People need to pick up their garbage. This park has lots of nice, big trees that provide some great shade. There is a playground with swings near a big field. The playground is falling a part a little but still adequate. There is a small splash pad near by with some public bathrooms. I believe there is even a pickle ball court or two to enjoy. Closer to the south side of the park there is another playground that might be newer, in the past few years. Several small shelters with a few picnic tables are located more at the north end of the park, with one larger shelter available on the west side close to the parking lot. Tried out the new disc golf course. It was nice, it's on the smaller side and just 9 holes, but was so nicely setup. It was also good to see fellow golfers enjoying the course.

Great time, and the park has a lot of options. With basketball and tennis courts. There is also a nice pavilion amongst other spots to sit and enjoy a picnic.
