The course is super well maintained. Fun par 3 to play. The problem is the staff in the pro shop is the rudest staff I have ever seen at a golf course. The staff was difficult right from the start when we arrived to pay. We were a group of 6, so we started as 2 separate 3somes. A few holes in there was nobody behind us so we decided to play together and play a 3v3 scramble. We played the front 9 like this and made sure nobody behind us was ever close to waiting on us. (They were 2-3 holes behind us and we were playing faster than them since we were playing a scramble). We are all decent golfers and took care of the course and were not loud or drinking or anything. After the 9th hole the staff came out and was extremely rude in the way they told us to split back up. I tried to explain that we were being very mindful of people around us and the staff turned and walked away as I was trying to respectfully talk to him. I would have loved to explain weāre part of a wedding party and trying to get to know the other side of the family. I worked at a private country club a few years ago and canāt imagine ever treating someone the way my group was treated today. Thereās a mini golf course here lol I figured it would be a bit more family friendly šš. The staff here must be making $550 an hour with the power trip they were on for absolutely no reason. Again the course is maintained well. The grounds crew does a great job, it was just the 2 people in the pro shop that were extremely rude from the start. When golf is usually full of the most kind and respectful people our group was pretty shocked we were confronted with such a āholier than thouā attitude from a par 3 course with a mini golf course next to the 18th green.
$26 a person for no cart at a par 3 course to get treated like trash is wild. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe driving range is really in the park grounds, as a first comer I was a little confused as to where it was located. Reasoning for my 3 stars: Bays are unshaded and have a 45 min - 1 hour time limit. Which I honestly couldnāt even think about making it to 1 hour with how hard the sun was beating down on me. Price, I paid $7 for 40 balls, the associate at the window said it so fast I honestly only picked up on the $7 and the $40 tag on a bucket of 100 balls. Seems way too step for 100 balls and youāre only given 1 hour max to hit. Thereās one bench that can fit 2 people...which is unfortunate. Location, thereās a putt putt behind the range so you hear the families in the background as you try to focus on your swings. Space, the range is the smallest range Iāve ever come to, itās average size in length but very narrow, and with the netting around, felt like a bird in a cage. You have a little over 275 yards of distance, so, this range is more so honing in on your swing, not the distance of your swing. Environment, I will say, that it is a welcoming environment. The dress code I noticed was pretty much come as you are. Allowing any beginners to really feel included at this range. Iāve been to a couple of ranges where, although there is no mandatory dress code, patrons sport a golf attire which can be intimidating to beginners and can draw them away from starting off. But not here, which I found very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live down the street & have been coming here since I was a kid. Truthfully, I donāt know if it was because of Covid or If itās just new management but, this place is falling apart. Theyāve moved the first tee up like 30 feet so youāre teeing off to a green thatās probably only 40 ft away. Youāre paying $40+ for 2 players / 9 holes that arenāt kept up well. They charge you an extra $15 if you come to play on a day where they choose to have the lights on but, even then - only half the lights on the course work. (Greens are dark). If you donāt pay/play for 18 you can only play the front 9. Donāt even think about teeing off from anywhere but the tee Matt (course or range) or theyāll yell at you for messing with the grass they donāt take care of. Pro shop isnāt operational. Cafe is closed. Best thing about this place is probably the mini golf. Even then, the turf is falling apart. I donāt know how theyāre able to raise prices & allow none of it to actually go back into the course up keep. Better off going to any other course in the general 5 mile radius if you really want to enjoy...
