Customer service was horrible. 242977 especially. She was having trouble with a gift card, she had obviously rung my daughter out, so she set the bag on the counter. The card didn't read, but I called the # on the back, put my phone on speaker so she could hear the $20 balance, she pulled off a bag to put over the card to try to get it to work but did so forcefully that it knocked my daughter's bag off. She had to replace the unicorn egg because it did hit the floor hard. I said to her "Are you really going to act like that" especially with kids around. The other 2 associates actually turned their back and laughed... I'm so thrilled that scaring my child was comedic entertainment for them. I will never walk in there again, especially if those are the types you hire. There's enough negativity in this world. My child should have never felt FEAR...
Read moreNot my favorite "dollar store" as the item selection doesn't really peak my interest and the prices seem "slightly overpriced". Nothing egregious! Just slightly above what i'd expect.
However, there are some good items:
-The usb-c to usb-a cable -The usb hub -That notebook I decided to pick up because some customer misplaced it and I decided I could use another notebook -A glass iphone 7 screen protector. -The "9999 in 1 brick game" airpods case. Its fun! Slightly disappointed in it not having the expected tetris clone. But hey, there's still some good timewasters programmed in that thing.
Also, can we not stock the same products in two places halfway across the store? That seems like a slightly scummy way to increase the perceived item selection. I don't think even...
Read moreThe best parts of this specific store are its location, and the products. Truly, if it was not for the convenience of the location, I would probably not shop here. Keep in mind, I waited a while to review. The store is often a mess. I assumed it was because of a high volume of customers and a small amount of staff. Then I realized that often times there are several people avoiding work,while one person has to work the register and pick up stuff off of the floor. Often times broken items remain on the shelf for weeks. Plus, a few of the employees do not have the best customer service. I often feel bad for whomever has to work the register even when they have a bad attitude. Mainly bc it is often the only person to be found...
