It's a shame this is the Chipotle closest to my house, because it's easily the worst one of ever been to. After my latest terrible experience, I'll now be driving the extra 15 minutes to the one in Peters when I want Chipotle.
Don't order online if you want your order to be a) correct or b) done within an hour.
Let's take a look at my order from last night: I ordered a simple chicken quesadilla with beans, rice, and hot salsa as my side. Nothing wild, no substitutions, etc. I got a bag of chips, also.
I get to the store for my 7 pm pickup time (per the app) right around that time. I am the only customer in the store while there are 7 employees who are joking around, laughing, and (I can only imagine) screwing up other online orders. 15 minutes later, I finally get my order.
My quesadilla was so burnt and salty I actually thought my dog had taken a dump in the house when I got home and opened the bag. They didnt give me my sides either (which is the third or fourth time the online order where they decided to not give me sides, which is ironic because the quesadilla containers actually have slots for the sides, so someone didn't bother to stop taking TikTok videos long enough to see that half of the tray was empty). The bag of chips had about a handful of chips in them.
Moral of the story, I am constantly and routinely disappointed by the service, food quality, and overall experience at this restaurant. If this is how everyone else gets in their experience, they need to shut...
Read moreMy experience today is the epitome of why I am reluctant to go to chipotle every time the idea is brought up. I asked for a chicken quesadilla and was told I can't order that at the make line, only on online orders. What? Why can I not order something on the menu that you have the capacity to make in the kitchen that is literally right in front of you because I am ordering it verbally at the counter instead of on my phone? It is completely absurd. I then asked for a chicken burrito instead, and I wanted it to be as close to the quesadilla as possible so I only wanted chicken and cheese with sour cream. The woman making my burrito, who had already come off as bossy and rude, proceeded to half scoop my chicken. I asked for a bit more to which she replied by condescendingly reminding me that chipotle only does single servings and double servings of chicken. I said okay and paid for my extremely undersized and $9.50 burrito. The fact that this woman is not more professional when she is responsible for the portion size of my meal is ridiculous. I am always understanding of people who work in the service industry but this was absolutely ridiculous and...
Read moreI'm accustomed to getting fresh tasty food at Chipotle but this time was very disappointing. I wanted to try the new garlic steak guajillo in a burrito but they were completely out of steak. Not only was the stainless bin empty but there was dried meat and sauce crusted all around it which makes me think they weren't bringing out fresh containers of meat they were just refilling that same container that had been sitting out all day which would account for the crusty appearance. Very unappealing. Since it was empty one of the employees who was not a cashier got a fresh piece of steak and chopped it up for me which was really appreciated however the steak was tough, dry, and had lots of gristle. I only got a few good bites out of it and didn't finish my burrito. They were also short on the pico de gallo salsa which is my favorite but I only got a spoonful because that's all they had. Not sure if I'll give them another try or not. I think it was $17 for a burrito and an apple juice. I think it's outrageous that they charge $2.75 to add guacamole to your burrito. Guacamole is a standard condiment in Mexican cuisine. I don't appreciate having to pay...
