Five Guys — Restaurant in South Strabane Township

As the new wave of "fast casual" dining becomes more and more popular, Five Guys definitely stays on top of their game to compete. Much like a Chipotle or Moe's Southwestern, Five Guys allows you to order your burger (or dog) and put just about anything that you would like on top of it to make it your own.

Typically a 10 minute or less wait, you will have your burger ready at the counter with a smiling face to say enjoy before you tear into it. As mentioned before, a little fry is waaay too much and if you go towards closing they will heap even more fries in the bag. Going off of this, a small burger is also plenty for me and I weigh 240 so I can definitely eat. Throw in one of the new coke machines that allows you to make a Frankenstein's Monster of a drink and you're good to go.

As for the restaurant itself, holy clean! This place is immaculate! You walk in and it smells clean and gives you a feeling of comfort as you smell the burgers and fries cooking. Oh and did I mention free peanuts? It's like a roadhouse, except you probably shouldn't throw the shells on the ground. Plus the staff are awesome because you'll get some of the ones who sing and have fun while they're working, which to me is so cool. If you can have fun working, then you're doing something right. Show me in my wife to sign app to go eat dinner late. And as we were going around to different restaurants, we asked the staff in the restaurant. What time they clothes normally everybody says time so we didn't want to do that to anyone. Make them late getting off of that shift. But we stopped at 5 guys and asked them what that mess with them if we ate in the dining area. Cause we were trying to spend a nice Tyler and Nate insisted that we stayed there and eat our food. They continued their closing procedures and respected our space while having great conversation with us. They should such great awesome customer service! They provided us record demands when theat container was empty. And they could have easily just toldrs to use to use the ketchup packets, But they made it their business to have us put the packets back so they could fill up the ketchup for us. These days it's sad to say but you just don't find good customer service with positive attitudes these days. And they show excellent customer service with awesome attitudes and they need to be recognized. Not to mention that the food they fixed was absolutely awesome. For 2 adults 2 kids it was almost 60$ and none was meals. The bacon on the BLT was so hard my child couldn't eat it without it hurting her teeth. The 1 burger we did have ketchup and mustard on was extremely messy. As if they put enough for 3 burgers on the one. Also mind you we did not get any drinks as even the cashier agreed that their machines make the drinks taste disgusting and even said it's hard for them to clean properly. Added gross factor I didn't even think of. If we go back it wouldn't be unless we could splurge on little food for a lot of money. Oh and the women's toilet kept flushing. As in after it was flushed it didn't stop. Cashier stated that "it's a known issue and that it wastes a lot of water but it doesn't do it often." Not sure why tye company hasn't fixed this yet imo that's a lot of water waste also as it kept going for the entire time it took to wash and dry hands. Could even hear it still going after we left...
