I stopped in on a whim and left with some delicious treasures. Not being familiar with many of the foods, I asked the friendly clerk for recommendations and left happily with a number of goodies to sample. The store is not large, but is clean and organized. Parking, signage and street access are all easy. Can’t wait to try the fresh bread, dumplings, pelmeni, and several styles of butter, sausages, candy and cookies. Trying not to buy more than we can reasonably eat, I reluctantly passed on the fresh cakes this time. Service was great and I appreciate that my lack of knowledge was treated with kindness. Not friendly, the woman was rude to my husband who speaks a little bit of Russian. She thought he is Russian speaker, when she found out that he is American, she become dismissive. She was rude to me too, for reasons unknown. Shame tho, no person should be treated that way who doesn't speak the language. She lost the...
