I normally do not go to this gamestop. But because they were the only store that currently held the item I wanted I went 2 for 2 different items. I will never ever go back to this gamestop. They have the absolute worst customer service and just plain respect out of all the gamestops I've been to in spokane. The same worker checked me out both times and he was so quick to tell me I couldn't return something I bought a week ago and paid the extra for the warranty. Once he decided to look down at the product and see for himself I just bought it, he said "I guess your eligible"... seriously?! Tried making me feel like it was my lucky day or something. Twice I have been treated like I should be thankful to be shopping at this gamestop! I know that sounds ridiculous but that is really how they treat you there. No smiles on their faces or anything. Terrible! Make the drive to 29th or to shadle Park, they are happy to have your business and are...
Read moreIf by any chance you read my other two reviews about trade a game and/or game world, great job. But this store, for those with their eyes still closed... here you go, simply put - stop shopping here in a bigger city.
Why do you shop here? Trade a game points are $5 earned every $50 spent. Trade a game sells new next gen everything just like game stop. But trade a game also can fix any game console period. Game stop specialises in building their stores in multiple locations in various places to maximize customer count cause they simply can't bring in enough from their services and offers alone lol. People like me used to have no choice when we would live in the boondocks and Wal-Mart wasn't enough, that's it. But if your reading this, you actually have a choice like I do now. (Have for years now). Shop somewhere better, more customer oriented than profits. You'll enjoy your experience better too, I promise that! Even if you go...
Read moreThe service has been declining for awhile. For example, I have purchased games with no credit of purchase on my Game Stop Rewards card. The service is slow, with no one greeting you, staff has brought in their young kids and had run around while you shop (not fun). However, this last time drew the line for me. I purchased Skyrim based on some friend recommendations. After my son started playing the game, someone gets beheaded, head rolling into basket, and he turns to me and says "this is not my type of game". I take the game back the following day and after paying $60, Game Stop was going to issue a $20 in-store credit. We played 3 mins and game was not what we expected and all we heard was "Store policy". Best Buy easily returns games within 30 days, no questions asked. I will never come back. Our business will be going there. Anyone looking to buy games should too. Very...
