Regal Northtown Mall — Attraction in Spokane

If i could give less then one star i would thanks to Ashley Pleschourt the supposed very unprofessional, rude "manager! My family and i went in to see a wrinkle in time at the 6:45 showing on march 15 2018. We spent over $70 dollars and we purchased our tickets and when we got into the movies there were people sitting in our assigned seats and we didn't want to make a big deal out of it and ask them to move because we didn't really care. So we decided to sit in different seats since ours were taken. Halfway through the movie the "supposed" manager ashley pleschourt came and asked us to move because we were in someone elses assigned seats so we apologized and went to move but like i said before we couldn't sit in our assigned seats because those were already taken. So my family and i chose seats that were empty and sat down to watch the movie that was already halfway through and the manager just stood there and then said that we couldn't sit there either. I asked her then where are we supposed to sit because our assigned seats were taken and she didnt bother to ask those people to move out of our assigned seats. Overall it was an extremely bad experience and my family and i have spent thousands of dollars there and to be treated like that by a so called manager that obviously just had a major power trip is not ok. The "manager" Ashley pleschourt was very rude and unprofessional and should not be a manager because she obviously does not have the qualities to be a manager! I also asked to speak to her supervisor and she said he was not in to night so i said thats fine i would like his name and direct phone number. After i left i called the number she wrote down and it just so happened to be her direct line at her desk go figure. I would definitely not recommend this theater to anyone unless you want to get treated disrespectfully after spending thousands of dollars there. I would recommend to the supervisor that he should have that so called "manager" ashley pleschourt step down because she is representing that business in a very negative way and they will loose out on a lot of sales just...

Today I had unfortunate experience of what bad audio can do to a movie. Is this the end of going out to the Cinema?

My wife and I went to the North Town Mall to watch Star Wars, the Rise of Skywalker at Regal Cinemas. As soon as we were seated I could tell something was wrong. The previews seemed dull and distant. I tried to put my finger on the problem and concluded it was a combination of the fact that they left the lights on full and that the audio was weak and only coming from the front. "Well, I suppose they will dim the lights and turn on the surround sound when the movie starts," I said to myself... but sadly I was correct on only one point. They DID dim the lights, but rather than turning on the surround sound, they proceeded to crank up the volume which sounded barely stereo and was coming from directly in front of us like a giant low-budget TV set. This created high/mid frequency spikes everytime a tie fighter flew over or someone shouted during a battle. It was... PAINFUL! We are talking about damaging decibal levels. We both had to stuff our ears with napkins. No, we were not just being extra-sensitive party poopers... I usually have a high tolerance, but this time I had to ask them to adjust it. Whatever they did didn't help. Since the rest of the system was apparently blown, they seemed to be compensating with dangeruously high volume gain in an attemt to get that "immersive" experience that a decent audio system would have provided with little effort. We nearly had to walk out. So, in conclusion, after missing two parts of the movie completely and wasting $30 on a very poor experience, I am concerned that Cinema as we know it may be on its last leg. I could have watched with much more pleasant results at home. Really too bad! I must say it is worth paying for parking just to go to AMC downtown which offers 10 times the experience with a much more professional presentation and super awesome...

Went to the Northtown Regal Cinemas last night to take my son on his first date to see Assassin's Creed... I'm terminally ill and don't go out very often but wanted to be a part of of this monumental moment in his life so me and my wife decided to make it a double date and go out with him... so I called ahead to the theater to make sure they have disabled seating available they informed they did and so we headed out... I was feeling pretty good last night so I decided to leave me wheelchair at home as I was going to be sitting down for the movie... when I arrived to purchase my tickets for the show I was informed that because I did not bring my wheelchair in with me I could not receive my tickets I kindly explained that I am permanently disabled with a terminal illness and that I needed a seat in the disabled row next to the exit... I was then informed by the ticket salesperson that I don't even look disabled and to buy other tickets or get out of line.... I was dumbfounded I could not believe what this person just said to me I pulled out my permanent disability identification card and showed it to her and then I walked off to be honest with tears in my eyes I've never been so disrespected and hurt by someone like that.... as there was not enough time to go all the way home to get my wheelchair before the movie started we where forced to sit in the seats where I had to walk the stairs to get to them.... the movie was great the theater was clean the chairs where comfy.... but I would not recommend anyone go there the disregard for my feelings for my illness and the disrespect to tell me I don't appear disabled is awful I will be contacting local news sources to try and get this story out there further it's just...
