Spring Lake Theatre — Attraction in Spring Lake

It's the tops! I went to go see 'Anything Goes' last night and it was absolutely remarkable! One of the best shows I have ever seen! Every moment was beyond impressive! I had a smile on my face, truly, the whole time! I am a workshop student at the theatre, so it is extra special now for me to think that I performed on that stage too! It was wonderful that I got to see a few of my theatre teachers shine in the show as well! The actress who played Reno Sweeny was fantastic, as was every single person in the cast! Billy Crocker was amazing and the actor who played Evelyn was flat out hilarious! The orchestra was perfect, especially the violinist! "SEAing" the show was a joy! The Spring Lake Theater is a shining star with its fantastic cast, simply enchanting historic manor and its commitment to helping build a better community. From the outdoor performances during covid and the recent performances of The Little Mermaid (love Sabastian!!!) and the holiday performance of Scrooge (the entire cast was phenomenal even in masks), these shows were the much needed nights out: safe, comfortable and transported away into your magical worlds. We saw A Chorus Line yesterday and we’re so glad we went! We’ve seen a number of Spring Lake shows and this was possibly the best…absolutely Broadway caliber. We especially can’t stop talking about Jessica Sazone’s and Elizabeth Ritacco’s performances. Elizabeth’s scene at the end is indelibly etched.
