Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club — Attraction in Spring Lake

Anthony and Katie of SLBTC helped us plan the most beautiful Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Reception for our guests the evening before our wedding. We had many family members and friends who traveled from out of state to be there for our wedding weekend, and felt that doing something extra to welcome them to town the night before the wedding was a nice gesture. We had originally booked the West Deck Beach House which is a rooftop event area with small indoor dining space and access to a large outdoor deck and grill space (overlooking the tennis courts and ocean in the distance). Originally we felt this would be ideal if we were experiencing a warmer fall like in years past. As the wedding weekend approached the weather looked to be a little cooler than anticipated, and Anthony went out of his way to offer us a larger more spacious indoor event room on the ground floor, with access to their outdoor tent overlooking their beautiful pool and oceanfront balcony. This just shows how Anthony goes above and beyond to throw the best possible event. The indoor room he offered ended up being double in size from the original space and allowed our guests to feel most comfortable whether they were inside or outside. Our guests loved having the balcony access especially for the beautiful sunset. The food was excellent as we offered a three course sit down meal for the wedding party followed by trays of grilled food small bites and passed horderves for our welcome party portion of the evening. Anthony worked with us to offer the most premium menu offerings within our budget while keeping a close eye on the market to ensure any adjustments and additional offerings could be added in closer to the event. Our guests were raving about how much food there was and left with hearts and bellies full. The open bar with alcohol provided by Eagan's was also a great touch, SLBTC and Eagans handled everything for us once we shared our beverage preferences for the event. Having access to the lighted outdoor tent was a huge bonus and elevated the experience that much more. Katie made set up a breeze allowing me to drop off the decorative items the day beforehand and setting everything up exactly as we discussed, as well as coordinating with our vendor Wallflowers for our floral decor. You need to have your wedding here! We were married 11/6/21 and it was the most amazing day of our lives!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was very stressful and nerve racking but from our very first meeting with Rob in August of 2020, we knew this would be the perfect place to say “I Do.” They’re all about the customer experience and wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams and we’re realistic about budgets and expectations. They also treated all their postponed weddings from the pandemic with such genuine care that we knew we were in good hands. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, from the salt water fed pool that’s filled year round, to the gorgeous beach views from a top of the upper deck as the backdrop to your ceremony, and even the bathrooms were so cutely decorated!

The food was incredible! It was very hard to narrow everything down after our tasting, but Rob helped us figure it all out, and even helped us get our favorite items on the menu. All of our guests were raving about all the food, they couldn’t believe how much kept coming out and felt very well fed all night! We even had late night pizza delivered and Rob helped us coordinate that for everyone.

Having the afterparty at the venue was the best decision. The party didn’t have to end, we had all of our alcohol and pizza still for guests to enjoy. We did not want the night to end! The staff were also a joy to have around, we saw them dancing and enjoying the night as well! All of our guests talked about Joe, dancing around the dance floor with the pizza late night, taking extra care to get my niece more food at cocktail hour, going the extra mile with his friendly service!

Overall, we feel like we got way more than we paid for and we will remember this night for the rest of our lives. I could talk for hours about how incredible our experience with the B&T was! No detail was left undone, it was our absolute...

You may not know this but the Bath and Tennis Club hosts weddings for non-members. When we found this out we set up our first meeting with Robert Albanese, assistant manager. From the minute we met with Rob we felt confident that our special day was in the best hands. From start to finish, Rob was professional and personable. He guided us along what could have been a daunting path with meticulous precision. We could truly enjoy our day, knowing everything was taken care of.

The venue is newly updated, keeping in spirit with its beachfront location with an added modern sensibility. It is understated class to the max. The food is topnotch; this is not your run of the mill wedding food. They use only the highest quality meats and fresh vegetables. NOTHING is frozen and nothing sits out under a heat lamp. Everything is prepared to order and any allergy or food preference will be honored. After being married for a little over 6 months, I still have guests raving about the food. Each and every staff member takes their job seriously; their goal is to give you peace of mind on your special day. Every single staff member was lovely, so many of my guests enjoyed their table service, getting to know their server and interacting with them throughout the evening. Every guest left feeling genuinely taken care off and having enjoyed our wedding from start to finish.
