I bought a $35pair of men's memory foam Isotoner slippers for my son-in-law for a whopping $3.50!! And a beautiful $25 stoneware serving platter for $2 for my daughter!! The list of savings goes on...everyone on my list bought for; and 5 big shopping bags later; I spent a total of $26 and saved literally hundreds. Note; this merchandise was not on on sale because they were "seconds", "irregulars", or damaged...it was their daily merchandise that would be reg priced the day after Christmas. I buy all my seasonal; garden; and kitchen items there, especially adorable decorations for my flower gardens, from unusual flower pots to garden gnomes to path lighting!...
Read moreI went with a friend today because she raved about how good Chili's restaurant was and promised I would love it. The menu's looked great, the waiter very kind. However, when I got my soup, I noticed a long thin strand of hair in my soup......needless to say, I lost my appetite. It made me wonder if the cooks wore anything over their heads or even wore gloves. The waiter brought me another bowl of soup, but never offered to take it off my bill, or anything else. Later, a couple of waitresses, grouped together in a corner at times whispering low and peeking at my table. I felt sooooo uncomfortable. I was hoping nothing was done to either the replacement soup or my food (since I had returned the first bowl of soup). If not, they certainly didn't make me feel otherwise........ I will never go to this...
