I moved into One Hundred a few weeks ago. While it hasn't been perfect, there are certainly many positive qualities and I really do appreciate how easy it has been to deal with property management, front desk staff, and maintenance. Big shout out to Natasha, who is absolutely amazing.
Other highlights are the location, the lovely views and the flexibility you're allowed when customizing your apartment. Elevators are usually prompt (although on occassion there have been issues), and because of the small horizontal footprint of the building it's really easy to get around.
The challenges that prevent me from giving it 5 stars are as follows: Parking - the garage is a little tight, there have been times where it's been hard to find a space. You also have to scan a barcode every time you enter or exit the garage, which is annoying. I would expect that a building of this caliber would have an automated system for reading a license plate or sticker (like you'd have at any carwash...) Deliveries - you're not allowed to have food or groceries delivered up to your apartment. I respect that there are security concerns here... but still, it's inconvenient. The apartment designs are good overall, but there were some really weird decisions made with regards to the kitchen as well as the bathrooms. It all looks pretty, but usability is not ideal. Noise - To be honest I expected better. I do hear things from the apartment above me at times and that bothers me. I would've expected a building of modern construction to be a bit more solid than this. Appliances - The refrigerator is not one of great quality, and the dryer they use is ventless, so it takes a long while to dry and it pumps heat into apartment (which isn't so bad in the winter - but will be problematic in the summer).
I realize I just wrote a lot of negative things, but don't get me wrong it's still been a good experience overall.
(NOTE: I had left a harsh review largely based on a negative experience with a leasing agent when touring the place last year. I have since...
Read moreI stayed in a beautiful apartment with amazing views of sunsets that were so uplifting I felt like I was on vacation. The building has great staff: Eric Butler, Gerald Precise and Diana Lane at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and their pleasant and personable demeanor immediately made me feel at home. They were knowledgeable and efficient at dealing with any queries I had about the building or the neighborhood. I was glad to know they were downstairs. This building is very well maintained and spotless throughout. There is a wonderful gym and business center and balcony and other common spaces. My apartment on the 23rd floor had little noise from the street, and the occasional wind didn't bother me. I stayed here on a temporary basis to deal with some family issues. I extended my stay, thanks to my very helpful rental agent, Cristina Dulin at Arch Interim Housing, because I was so comfortable. I will try to stay here again the next time I come to St. Louis to visit family. This photo is the view from my apartment. I never tired of it, whether it was snowing or raining or sunny. I always had a...
Read moreGreat apartment, great people. I lived at the 100 for the 3 years. The apartment offers arguably the best views of forest park in all of St. Louis. Living here for 3 years I never got tired of it. The building is centrally located in the CWE and is walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Every apartment will have an issue or two, but the best thing about this place is that when you make a complaint or request to management, they actually listen and fix it. Inbar and Natasha were great from the day I toured the apartment, to weeks after I moved out the apartment when trying to get mail forwarded to my new address. If I wasn’t moving out of state for work, I would have resigned my lease for the 4th year. Inbar was always personable and responsive, but I didn’t realize how easy and great it was to work with her until I moved into a new apartment that has “good” management. I jokingly texted Inbar asking if she would consider taking over management of my new apartment in Florida. Overall, the 100 is a great apartment and provides a management team that is personable...
