So to start off it’s the cutest little store! And she has her kids helping so a black owned family business is always a plus! But to go on I ordered a cake for my 30th birthday it was supposed to be ready on a Wednesday but I’m assuming she got the dates mixed up and the cake was ready on Monday so my cake had to sit while I was outta town. When I got the cake as you can see in the pictures it was kinda smushed in the clear wrapping my name plate was melting in the cake. The picture I showed her had multiple colors of pink and I did not have that on top of as you can see in the pictures the layers were uneven. When I messaged her about the layers she said it was fresh Carmel that made it slide but in my opinion they weren’t the same size all the way around I was never offered a refund of any kind an apology for the way the cake looked nothing. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered a layered Carmel cake but I was not happy. On top of I kept asking for a receipt and was never provided one.

This place was really cute on the inside and they offer extra services such as cupcake decorating classes and etc. I went to 2 bakeries today. This one, and another highly rated bakery a couple blocks away. The cupcakes here (on the right in the pics) we’re half the size of the other bakery’s cupcakes (on the left with an “x”), yet twice the price. I left here with 4 little cupcakes and was charge $24 ($6 each). They were tasty but much smaller. I can tell they were crafted with passion but still a little overpriced, in my opinion solely. I also understand that the value of this lady’s product is not dictated by my opinion of the prices alone. She was super kind and this could be a great option for catering fancy events or specialty cakes and cupcakes. The packaging was really nice so I’m guessing that’s where the overhead comes in.

Disappointed beyond words. I ordered and paid for a cake a month in advance of the pickup. I followed up with owner 12 days before the pickup date to ensure the cake details were remembered. She confirmed she had the order details. Pick up date, the business was closed during normal business hours. The owner would not answer my calls or text messages. After an hour of stalking her business the doors were opened and the cake was the biggest disappointment. She literally printed images and words from a Dot Matrix Printer and attached the paper printout to the cake with dab of frosting. I am deeply dismayed and will NEVER support this business again.

I’m not impressed…. I paid $125 for a smash cake and 10 inch round cake for my son’s 1st birthday. I wanted them to look like baseballs. The cake was frosted unevenly and red fondant was used to replicate the stitching on a baseball. The lady I spoke with didn’t say anything about using fondant (I would’ve asked her not to as my family doesn’t like it). The fondant looked terrible on the cake. The lines were uneven and it looked like it had been shaped and rolled by hand. The containers that the cakes were placed in were too small and the sides of the cakes rubbed and smeared icing on them. The cakes themselves were over baked, very crumbly, and dry. I almost thought she gave me the wrong flavored cake as the outside was almost super brown. The confetti cake flavor was bland. It seemed like a rushed job and I order this cake 2 weeks ago. I’m just overall upset with the quality that I got from the bakery after looking at...

DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH CAKE SNOB She is a Liar, Thief and cannot be Trusted. I ordered a cake, balloons, and a dozen of cupcakes from Cake Snob, I live out of state and was coming into town and need the items for a surprise birthday dinner for my daughter. On the day of the event, she was running a need late but did make before I did. When I arrive at the restaurant, she had only delivery the cake. I call her about ten times and text her no response. On about the eleven call she answers, lied, and stated the balloons was hiding the cupcakes and she was on her way back to bring the cupcakes; said it would be about an hour. One and a half hours later, I start calling and texting for an hour as of today, a week later no response. SHE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT RETURNING IT IF SHE MESSES UP. Do Not SUPPORT her Business -CAKE SNOB, ...
