I came in because I had dropped my phone and the screen display was streaked and messed up, however all the other componants were still working including the power button. I watched the girl test to see the phone working as normal before I left it with them. When I returned to pick it up (for $170+) they had replaced the screen as promised but then informed me that the power button was no longer working as the internal flex cable had been damaged when i dropped the phone. When I pointed out that it was working before I gave it to them, the man who fixed it tried to point to the receipt where the girl had written ‘power button does not work’ and claimed it arrived that way. The girl was said no I just wrote that after the fix and confirmed that the power button did work during the initial test. The guy said that the flex wire was still damaged from the fall and it wasnt his problem or fault. When I pointed out again that it was working before I had brought it to them and that I’d prefer the messed up display instead of now having a non functioning power button, he said there was nothing he could do except replace the entire frame which would cost me lots of time and more money. This is clearly how they operate since they state repeatedly that there are absolutely no refunds - even if their actions cause a component that was functioning before I gave them my phone to cease to function after they ‘fixed’ it. Really, really awful customer service and the entire experience felt like I had been scammed. As I said he even tried to nastily tell me I brought it in broken when his coworker corrected him and still they refused to take any money off or even open it up again to see if they could fix the part that was working before. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the $170 leason I learned today, avoid this place at all costs and either go to Apple or another phone fixing place that has good reviews. The single star I’m forced to give this place goes to sweet girl who was honest about how my phone was working to her boss, I hope you find a better place to work one day. Don’t waste your...
Read moreThis place is bad and that i don't recommend them. I went to them in attempt to repair my Iphone 7 plus. The issue that originally had is my charging port was broken. The woman who work there claim that she was "new" but still attempted to repair my iphone. Later on she told me that my battery need replacement. Then I said sure replace it. Once all the fixes has been made. She broke my Microphone and audio and claim that he wasn't her fault because it was an "OEM". She then told me to send to New Jersey for repair that she couldn't do. I then said yeah repair it. She gave me a temporary iphone 6 then gave her my number to called me back once the fixes has been made. I drop it once (wasn't that deep of a drop) with my old iphone touch g5. My ipod didn't cracked but the iphone 6 did. It was an accident and that i don't normally drop devices. 2 Week gone past and i had to call them because "SHE lost my number" and that the phone was already repaired within 2 days ago during the 2 week period. I had to repair the demage i made from the iphone 6 that cost me over $100. By then my iphone was fixed by another repair company not by them. I generally feel that this was a scam because the iphone 6 was owned by someone else because i saw pictures of someone else and their stuff on it and that when i handed it back with the paid damage the woman. Called me back claiming that it was icloud locked. I told them that i wasn't my fault. So, I feel that this was a scam because the screen was cheap and wasn't originally made by apple. Made by another third party that made the screen cheap and wasn't durable. Also, that i had to pay damage without any discount. All and all I don't recommend them Screen are cheap for a reason because it can be broken easily with 1 small drop. Workers don't know what their are doing and having to go to another repair company.
EDIT: I'll provide a picture of the location I had went too So, there NO!! confusion as to where the place is that is location in the Stamford...
Read moreThe fix is great but only go to them to have your phone repaired nothing else. Lol, this was so hilarious. Like I had said I will repeat myself the Fix repaired my phone really well so they did perfectly with that job but don't buy their accessories at all. I do mean at all. I bought a phone holder from the store and I figured out after setting up it didn't work. The adhesive didn't work, it just wasn't strong enough at all to handle my phone's weight. So I went back to request a refund but they had said no. So instead they allowed for me to exchange it for a replacement but the thing is it didn't work either. I have to admit I rushed the process the second time around. But they are running game over in the store. My friend read me the reviews from other customers and there is a problem with receiving refunds in the store. Only go to the Fix to have your phone repaired based on my experiences there but not for other products/services. I saw the manager a couple days after randomly walking downtown texting coincidentally days after when I was driving by. I started dying laughing. The associate I worked with at the other post nearby Victoria's Secret seemed very agreeable and had a cool demeanor though, the younger one with a mustache. I mean the phone holder wasn't expensive in the end. And I would and should give 3 stars but I don't like being so obviously played and bamboozled.
They have scam products apparently but...
