IMAX THEATER — Attraction in Sterling Heights

As we walked in Sat the 20th, a worker expalined that their power had just gone out and didnt know when it was returning. They allowed us to sit inside and see if/when power was coming. As we sat a guy about 30, 6ft tall very nicely, very professionally told my wife that her mask had a vent and AMC would like her to wear a different mask. As he was saying this, he walked over with a new mask my wife could wear. Maybe a minute or two later a patron came over to ask this guy a question. The patron was not wearing a mask and this guy very nicely asked the man to put a mask on. The patron did so.

I used to love coming to this theater. I'd go once a week to see the latest movie or just catch up on one's that I was curious about later in its availability. The drinks at McGuffins were great and there was a decent selection of food. I loved the rewards program because I saw so many movies i frequently got free food or movies. But now, post pandemic, there's something missing. What really bothers me though, is the horrible parking lot. It's got so many cracks and potholes - it's horrible. Hopefully, AMC and Sterling Heights can turn it around and make the theater a real Hotspot again. Customer service though,...

Sitting at home with my 52" screen TV 6ft away zero difference! Yet at home can get a Coke and snacks!!!! ...And more company if wanted to sit with! AMC losing big money why even open at your 30 screen theater w maybe at most 24 customers in entire building. Used to go 'every' Friday night now never ...waist of time w same movies on Netflix and Xfinity now! Bad situation and sorry! 2 Stars just to leave house for change of pace to go somewhere beyond that...
