Lucy's Flowers and Gifts — Attraction in Stickney Township

Horrible. They charged me $50 for a Birthday bouquet that should have been more like $20. It was last minute, so I stuck with the purchase, but I'll never do business with them again.

Look at the picture of the arrangement and judge for yourself! It's certainly not worth $50.

I noticed the florist has responded to my review. I indeed paid $50 for this arrangement. I don't know what the florist is talking about in suggesting I'm not being honest about the price I paid, but let's entertain the $39.99 she stated. The arrangement still isn't worth even that. Jewels Osco sells better arrangements at that price point, but they didn't have any at that time. I posted the picture so you can judge for yourself, but make no mistake about it... my total was $48.72 to be exact, so if $1.28 makes me dishonest, then shame...

Ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my elderly mom, to be delivered on Valentine's Day. Delivery wasn't made until 7:45pm. Thankfully she was still up and able to accept the delivery. To make matters worse, the email receipt shows a Grand Total $67.19. My credit card statement showed a charge of $68.27. I called and was told that was due to a 4% "convenience charge" added to my order total, and that it should be noted at the bottom of my receipt - which it is not. Also told they are "working" on getting that service charge included to the list of charges (subtotal, delivery charge, tax, grand total) that shows up on the receipt. Time to find a...

I have nothing but great comments for this establishment. The florist designed bouquets for my wedding last year which happened to be a destination wedding. Her work was executed flawlessly and was able to transpire our vision into a work of her art. The bouquets and Floral arrangements traveled all the way to Mexico and were well package they arrived intact.

I highly recommend Lucy's Flowers and Gifts for all and any occasions. Lucy's Flowers also designed florar center pieces for our corporate event.
