What a spot! Hidden in plain sight is one of the most eclectic collections I've ever had the chance to explore. This is not just doll house furniture! It's an amalgamation of functional chair and chair adjacent items stretching across three rooms and organized into themed collections. Barbara starts the tour with a historical deep dive into the house, its prominence, and an overview of how her collection got started. She'll work her way from case to case and explain the highlights of each shelf, always open to any questions along the way. I would highly recommend this if you're passing through the area, easily one of my favorite things I did this month. Here's a photo of me outside the museum and inside, as well as some snaps of her collection. Don't delay- visit today!

This place is a gem! A great activity to do with the fam. We were lucky enough to have a guided tour with Ms. Barbara. She is the curator of this museum and her love and intention is evident in every corner of the museum. Thank for your hospitality and for creating such a lovely place in Stone Mountain.

The Museum of Miniature Chairs is an absolute gem! I loved every moment of my visit there. Barbara Hartsfield is a pure joy to speak with as she guided me through the collections and each of their many fascinating stories! You must visit this Museum… it is a pure treat!

My experience was very simple, Wow!!! If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes I may not have believed it myself. There are chairs in bottles, few of them are made from clothespin, chairs for tissue etc. Yes, indeed a “Miniature Chair Museum.” Over 3000 chairs of various sizes with themes to offset the items in groups. This place is very clean, organized and well set up to visit. I had many “WOW” moments and I am certain you will too! The owner Ms. Barbara was very kind, energetic, very hospitable and worthy to be proud of this amazing accomplishments with her museum. Did you know she is also in the Guinness World Record for having the most chairs in that particular year? Well it’s true. I hope many people can find the time to visit this unusual mind blowing museum of chairs and...

The wife had a conference in Atlanta and I tagged along, and on our final day in town we had a few hours to kill before our flight. We love seeking out quirky sights and places when we travel and the Collectible and Antique Chair Gallery certainly hit the spot! What a joy. Sooooo many miniature chairs and cute little chair-related knick-knacks of all kinds, including an extensive collection of adorable sitters. Barbara is an amazing host and tour guide, and her love and passion for what she does made our visit that much more enjoyable. Her personality shines through in every room. I'm so glad we visited, and we'll certainly be sending her any interesting miniature...
