SMAX SNAX — Restaurant in Stone Mountain

My seven yr old son Brayden says " It was the best place ever!!!" I came looking for for a specific flavor of ice cream "Superman" up until now I had given up on finding an ice cream parlor near me that actually had the "Superman" Ice cream flavor & to finally find it with 15mins of my house was to clutch!!! Anyway we pull up to this inconspicuous ice cream shop, I had been meaning to stop by there for months not knowing they were the only place near me to have the flavor I like so much, walk in & not only is it a ice cream shop but they serve all kinda sodas, candies, teas including boba & milk shakes. The only was super sweet & went out of her way to make sure we was satisfied. Pricing was reasonable & ice cream was A1. Son saw a toy & initially I said no but after his repeated asking I caved & bought it too. If u in the Stone Mtn /Redan/ Lithonia area.. Nawl bump that if you looking for great ice cream served with a side of hospitality I recommend you visit the Smax Snax!!! ANDO Ando...

Stone Mountain Village deserves an ice cream shop that we can take our kids to instead of Bruster's. Unfortunately, this isn't it.

We were excited to come here after seeing all the good reviews. We ordered 3 scoops between us. One scoop had gone completely sour and spoiled. The 2nd scoop was totally freezer burned and hard as a rock. The 3rd scoop was the most plastic-tasting "peach" ice cream I've ever had - clearly not real peach ice cream. We threw them away shortly after leaving the store.

For $4.60 per scoop, I'd want real quality ice cream, and professional practices where they control the freezer temps properly and toss it if it's been out too long. Otherwise I'll go to Bruster's and get better tasting, cheaper ice cream.

I'd love for this place to be a quality ice cream shoppe we can feel good about bringing our kids, so I would be happy to update my review if they make...

Woah ! Soon after opening the door we (a friend group) heard steps . But they were too light and fast paced to be a human's . It turned out to be a dog welcoming us into the shop ! And then the really sneaky cat surprised us even more after it revealed itself . Contrastingly , the walls and shelves were all filled with CANDY and TOYS ! And then the FROZEN TREATS going further in ! This store had EVERYTHING A LITTLE KID WOULD LOVE . And if you're not a kid , it will surely make you feel like one ! Being so , it can be said that this is a good spot for parents to take their kids occasionally so that they may "rejoice ... while [they] are young" and "be glad in the days of [their] youth" , but not "too much" haha ! ;) -- Ecclesiastes...
