Archetype Curl Design — Local services in Stone Mountain

I loved my experience at archetype Curl design! I went for a cut for myself. Brie took the time to really find out what I wanted and different issues that I was having. The cut was great. She gave me a great deep conditioning treatment and then walked me through how to beat style the cut. She emailed over instructions for continued care which was SO HELPFUL. I ended up bringing my 5 year old back a week later for her first curly cut and first salon experience ever. Brie was so patient with her. Wash days are a struggle for me, but she made it a breeze. My daughter left with so much confidence. Her hair is pretty different from mine, so I really appreciated the help with her routine. Bre gave me the best curly cut of my life. Not only was she so knowledgeable about curly hair she took the time to really educate me and she also gave me the cut I requested down to a T. I was so nervous to get a cut (I’ve been traumatized by overzealous stylists who specialized in unnecessary big chops lol) but BRE literally took her time and kept me involved throughout the process. When I saw the end result I almost cried happy tears! She also stayed later to wait for my hair to dry (I have a lot of hair). She was so accommodating and welcoming. I don't think I can ever trust another stylist with scissors near my head. She paid attention to each of my concerns and did the perfect curly cut and was so attentive to any aftercare even days after the appointment. Brie was so sweet and caring and also offered snacks and drinks throughout my appointment and made sure my wine stayed filled! She didn't push me to cut too much and gave me a detailed explanation of all my options and made sure I was comfortable with my decision before she even pulled some scissors out. She also explained the styling as she went through it and told me each product and customized how I would be able to handle my hair towards my lifestyle.
