I took my wife here for her 30th birthday on one of the coldest days of the year and I was so happy I did! This place is truly incredible. We find ourselves always trying to go to aquariums where ever we visit and this one for sure one of the best. Being only one of six aquariums in the US that have beluga whales (at the time of writing), you really get to marvel at a creature that is not accessible to a wide swath of the country. The Sea Lion show was really cute and entertaining. The pre roll video was actually pretty funny and enjoyable also. I’ve seen a number of those kinds of videos where the humor really falls flat. Most importantly though, even beyond the whales(which are incredible), the staff was truly a delight. Even on the 15 degree day they were out with enthusiasm answering questions, telling stories, and showing pictures. They have assembled a really high tier of volunteers and employees. If you are considering coming, please do. You won’t regret it.

The facility itself is clean and well maintained. The staff are fully educated and can answer all questions. They do have a wide variety of ocean life but it is a small aquarium. You do walk outside for some of the exhibits as well as to get to and from each exhibit. They also have a food court and gift shop, along with a 4-D theater and a dinosaur exhibit with alligators and frogs. They also haves pretty educational sea lion show. There are a few touch tanks along with a pool of stingrays you are able to touch. The price is a bit high for how small it actually is but they have a really good mission and for the most part try to recuse and release the animals they do get. It’s a small but lovely aquarium and worth a visit for the first time and once in a while.

Mystic aquarium is an okay experience. The establishment is clean and run well but the experience itself is mediocre and leaves something to be desired. We went here during my girlfriends birthday weekend and the trip to mystic was dwarfed by going to Southwicks Zoo the day before. For about the same price we got about 3 or 4 more hours of entertainment at the zoo than at the aquarium. Would still recommend for families with children as a good learning experience.

The most amazing experience that I've ever had with my son Shiloh to learn about seat life and be able to have thee opportunity to have a front row seat 🪑 and watch the different creatures and see how they navigate there way inside of the water 💧 and actually feel like you are underwater with them by there side as if you were one of them 🥰 !!! Without a double a time that my son Shiloh and myself will NEVER forget and also many years ago I had the pleasure of working for a small company where I grew up and live and built a lot of these awesome tanks and finally after roughly 24years I got to see them in use so it was even a lot more special than your ordinary person going to visit and being able to tell your little boy that daddy built some of these was priceless and a time that will be etched into my son's memories forever and it was my birthday and I had the option to go anywhere that I wanted and to decide what I wanted to do for my birthday 🎉🎊🎂🎁 and when I happened to mention the aquarium to my little boy that was it ! I gave my son a bunch of different options and it was like I was talking to myself 😂 all he heard was aquarium and his mind was already made up 🤣 ! Memories for the both of us that will be forever etched in both of our minds for life ❤️ and I wouldn't trade that for the world 🌎 some things in life you just can't buy with money 💰 and this time that I got to spend with my son alone and witness life underwater was truly a blessing and you couldn't trade me all of the money 💰 in the world 🌎 for last weekend and I'm not joking it's the truth so if you are looking for an opportunity to bond with your children or a loved one what are you waiting for ? Get up and go some people like to sit on the couch and watch life on the TV screen but I'm the guy that likes to be in the action movie 🎥🎬 that your watching like is way to short to waist a single moment if you want something go get it ! Mystic aquarium is definitely #1 in my book 📖 of books 📚 and we will be back very soon because there really isn't enough time in one day to really let it all soak in it's going to take many different times to really let it all sink in I could really just sit for a whole day and just watch one sea creature nevermind hundreds lol 🤣!!! Thank you Mystic Aquarium we will be back very soon no doubt at all...

It's a nice place. They could stand to provide a map. Some of the areas were closed. It was especially frustrating how they discriminate against people. I feel it may have been racially motivated, but I can't be sure. We had 4 spots for the show at 1. They have a snack bar right outside the entry to the show. No signs stating no food inside. The people next to me were getting stuff to take in. My order was larger, ad I had 2 kids. When we got to the door, we were refused entry with the food. Again, no warnings. We spent almost $40 and now had to choose if we threw it away, as we had 5 minutes to showtime. I texted my wife, who had gone in ahead of us to wave seats. She sent me several photos of the many people inside with piles of food and drinks. The security guard said it wasn't her problem when I showed her and asked if we could go in. So I sent my kids in to meet their mother and I sat alone for 30 minutes and missed time. My wife is a covid nurse who travels. We surprised her on her 1 day off in almost 2 weeks. This girls irrational power trip set the mood off, and we ended up leaving...
