Brought my son here a few weeks ago to get a singing bowl for meditation. The bowl doesn’t work properly (verified by his music teacher). Tried to do an even exchange with the original sticker with description of item still on bowl. Woman insisted on a receipt but then said she’d exchange it, this wouldn’t happen without a lecture of how any other time, a receipt would be necessary. I said I can do without the lecture, I’m a local, I’d like to shop here again but don’t appreciate the poor treatment. The white woman said “oh yes you do need a lecture and no don’t come back” as if to say I’m no longer welcome in the store. Well, don’t worry. I won’t be back. Read moreMy husband and I were searching about Buddhist meditation stuff in CT, Specially water offering bowls and puff up Named Dharma Jewelry. We searched location immediately and followed the Address according to google map. It took us 45-50 minutes to get the store Named Dharma Jewelry. When My husband and I entered in the store, we were disappointed and felt blessed in the day because about hour driving was worthy. We found the place is genuinely decorated as likely as back in the country with genuine Buddhist merchandise and the owner was and is so kind and caring. The store it self as well as owner made our day as we were...

I'm not sure if "Zen" is the right word, but I don't know how else to best describe the peaceful vibe I get when I walk in the door. One of my favorite things to look at are the cards and banners with quotes from the Dalai Lama on them. I like to pick the ones that resonate with me the most, and those are the ones I hang in my garden house. Just a cool store, plain and simple. I hope I can...
