I was greeted with a very loud voice and disapproving looks as gas body language. Because of my symptoms I asked the woman behind the counter to keep it down just a little and she got defensive instead of just honoring my wishes. I won't say what I came in for as that is private HIPPA information , however the staff there are very condescending and it sppears they wreretraining some new girl which is ok however they pushed me to her and she becsme very sarcastic . I guess because I asked the previous clerk to keep it down so this one decided to tag team and it didn't go well because I didn't sweep it under the rug . Now I had to self pay and I didn't want the Couple already sitting in lobby to here my personal infirmation about my finances or what I was in for so it became ugly and no one wears badges so you can identify them . I was eventually seen after an hour of wait time and the Doctor Lindsey was phenomenal. I have been here before and the lady Doctor was great too . However their staff their are very judgemental and gossipy about people while your their and not very discrete when speaking with you and they speak AT you very rude young lady with long braids that need to be done over she thought by taking up for the lady training her that she would win brownie points and she became very arguementive!. Well I stood my grounds and there where no Director of nursing or nurse manager on site to voice complaints. So The initial lady I spoke with first decided to go ahead and sign me in because she saw it wasn't handled well by The new girl that was working there . She eas arriugant this nrw girl and full of herself and her feekings she more worried about how i made her look bad telking her she is ryde and arrgumentive then she was by just helping me and signing me in and talked very dorragatory towards me . Now im sorry but whe n peoole come in a urgent cate or otheteise hospitol facility its because they DOznT feel well so we payients arent exaxtly on ate best behavior and im sirry but that staff irritated me to no end because they just wouldnt cskm diwn which krot me excitec . Thete is no more humbkance it seems in the Neducal Community thst is Thete to Exptess and Show Empathy when someone is hurt , its like i was supoose to bow down to them .. welli eventuslly i did just to stop the maddnesd of this girl and so could be seen it is quite apparent as this girl didnt know how to stop rocking the boat . They had to keep calling her back because she was angry and dusnt know how to be quiet and handle herself and i kept hearing her back there talking about me and how she wasnt going to let anybidy talk to her like that .. she is in a healing profession " get over yourself" and had she been quiet and empathtic in tbe first place this situarion would not have escalated .The young woman that called me back is Courtney who did have a nametag on was no help in resolving issue either because she told me she is just a nurse and not their supervisor. Now she made excuses for the front end staff stating " oh thats just how they talk and they are like that all the time ' and sorry that I was offended. You can tell it was a brush off . I explained to her this is NOT professional behaviour and should be addressed so she gave me Kens'infor she said he is manager and to contact him . He wasn't on site. My suggestions is to train staff to kerp thier voices down when a patient is speaking with them about all confidential matters and purchase some room deviders so the frontdesk isn't all out in the open ,that will keep noise control down . I am a firm beleaver that you can teach someone how to talk to you by your own reactions . Be Professional!!!!!. There is nothing wrong with assertiveness as long as it is not rude and sarcastic.. we pay our money to come there and shouldn't pay for disrespect and arrogance this is Not the Field for that...
Read moreOf course these times are hard for everyone, especially incredibly more so for health care workers. I understand that because im going to school right now to BECOME a health care worker. But what i dont understand is how incredibly terrible the service was here today. I came in with 2 of the midl symptoms for COVID-19 solely because my employer demanded i do so upon feeling unwell last night. The receptionist in the urgent care section right away gave me the rudest attitude I've ever experienced in my life in a professional setting, solely due to the fact that their OWN website was messing up appointments. Then after i started filling out papers she told the next person i had to schedule through the company Solv, which mind you is what i scheduled and received confirmation receipts from. It is not the publics fault of something we have no control over, hell i don't specialoze in IT work nor have any access to change this.
[ -UPDATE: as i was writing this review ive decided to change the rating from 1 star to 3 stars only due to how helpful the actual doctor was. She was quick to the point, did not show any prejudice and truly deserved any and all recognition.:- ]
Unfortunately i cannot say even the closest gratitude for the receptionist nor nurse that screened me before the doctor. Right away the nurse began almost being belligerent towards me for "wasting their time" which again, i didn't even want to come in. I was going to self quarantine but with a colleague of mine testing positive from my work and my sickness last night, my company would not proceed to let me return until i had been tested. After reminding me several times that i was just "sitting there on the bed" (and yes these words came out of her mouth word for word thus why im creating this review while currently visiting) she then pointed out that my cloth face mask was irrelevant, saying if i truly had covid i wouldnt want to wear it due to breathing problems. Correct me if im wrong but doesnt the CDC and the WHO directly advise AGAINST wearing masks in any public setting? And how could i even acquire a medical grade mask when the public cannot actually have them? Ive looked for months for them specifically on my own only due to the fact that everyone i live with is very high risk.
Just to reiterate im not necessarily upset about the endeavour i just firmly believe the workers below this amazing doctor need to take many many unbiased courses and or patient privileges. Hope to see some changes if i ever do visit again, best of luck to you strong individuals out here making...

I went here for a UTI because the WellNow I usually go to was closed for Memorial Day. The staff here wasn’t overly friendly, I waited at the desk for just a little too long, and no one was up front to check me in. Finally went back and took my test, and they said it was negative, which I thought was so odd because I struggle with Chronic UTIs so I knew what I had was definitely a UTI. Said they would send it out to be tested, and said it would take 24-48 hours. The medication they gave me “for the meantime” was basically an off brand AZO, which actually ended up making the UTI even worse, to the point I was in tears at work, and had to leave early.
I tried to call their office and explain that it was only getting worse, and they basically told me there was nothing they could do until the test came back. They were so dismissive towards me! Even when I told them I was in more pain, and genuinely struggling. They had told me to wait til the medication to kick in, even though at that point I had taken almost the entire fill and it was only getting worse. The medication LITERALLY SAID ON THE BACK if you feel your symptoms getting worse go back to the doctor.
I would have not minded waiting for the test to come back if I wasn’t in so much pain, and I’m usually pretty good with this stuff. I ended up going to the WellNow down the street and they helped me out a lot. They were suprised that’s all that they did for me. They gave me ACTAUL medications for a UTI and it cleared right up.
The UH Urgent Care calls me A WEEK LATER, saying “You actually do have a UTI, we were going to send you medications!” Your telling me I could have just been struggling with this UTI for a week?? No medications?? That can cause serious issues! And you just now say I need medications??
I totally understand if the test was faint or unreadable, and I’m usually pretty understanding of nurses, doctors, and anyone in the service industry, but the fact that I expressed to them multiple times I’ve had several UTIs, I knew what the pain felt like, and expressing to them it was only getting worse from the meds that THEY gave me, and all they could not give me a definitive answer or help me in anyway. They told me not to come back! With all of the discomfort and pain I’ve been through in the past week, I would not recommend this place whatsoever.
