SEPHORA at Kohl's — Attraction in Summerville

If I could give them zero, I would, there was only two young ladies, the tall young lady with the curly hair and the other young lady, with a very long braid whom I didn’t interact with until the end . the rest of them were extremely dismissive , Standoffish, not customer friendly & NO HELP AT ALL . That was my first experience at Sephora I was happy to try on my shade however will never return because The customer service here is poor ! They would rather walk around chatting with their friends in the store, whispering near customers, as if we can’t hear them then after being in the store for almost 15 minutes the young lady walks back by and say hey, how are y’all even though I made eye contact with her when I walked in She kept walking, went to the next aisle I attempted to approach her again She turned her back and walked off .. you could’ve kept that hi for real! They should be embarrassed . management should be embarrassed the footage today when I came in around 4:05 till about 4:30 and then to top it off when I asked the young lady for the manager or someone I could speak to the same young lady that did not care to even ask that I need help whispered IN FRONT OF ME what is it that she need… you’re worried about the WRONG THING . 🫠 The experience was extremely cringe the way they handled me versus the other customers that I saw them helping… Now...

Word of advice - if you’re not wearing a full face of makeup and you’re wearing sweatpants, you will be ignored. Went in the other day to pickup some skincare and do some shopping and I kid you not, associates walked right past me, never asked if I needed help or anything. When I did ask for help and had a question, I got nothing but an attitude like I was dumb for asking the question. Oh and loss prevention will follow you around too. Two stars because they have more stuff than the one in Jcpenny. However I’m disappointed that I’m not able to use a SEPHORA gift card there because it’s not a “stand alone” store. What???? Oh and they sell gift cards at the cash register. So that means if I buy a gift card there for someone they would have to travel to north woods OR the one on king street.
