Soundside Park — Attraction in Surf City

Wonderful park. My favorite destination to just sit back and watch the world. The cars moving over the bridge, and the ripples moving through the sound. In parallel, they create a perfect portrait of tranquility. Its only right that it would have a fitting frame. The walkways and docks are all very well upkept, work is obviously done when (and probably before) it needs to be. I would love to put down 5 stars, but right now I feel like little things such as the abandoned boat dock and noise pollution draw away from that perfect picture. Not that it makes it any worse to someome not looking...

Soundside Park is the perfect place to Crab, Fish, Launch a boat or kayak, or just go on a long walk. Its a Really cool place to take the kids. If you want a really long walk you can walk the highrise bridge. See lots of foot traffic on the bridge. There are restrooms 🚻. There are also some resturants within walking distance with a tin of tables. Would be good to Park at sounside, walk over ti get a burger for lunch and just enjoy the scenery. This is a fantastic park that sits right on the sound side of Surf City. I take my little jack russell puppy up there all through out the year and I know he love it. It also has a boat ramp and I pretty big dock and boardwalk. If you have kids it has a very big play area with a jungle gym and and swings, etc. it also has a decent size amphitheater where bands will play every now and again. If you come to surf city I highly recommend this park especially around sunset. There are always lots of really good people up there just...
