I would like to start by saying that it is such a nice pier and and a great place to fish. But the establishment was the worse I have ever been to. I feel so bad for saying that but if you are white you will feel welcomed but if you are any other color they will make you feel unwelcomed by saying sassy stuff(mainly the 2 blonde ladies) . My girlfriend is a white girl and they were extremely nice to her calling her names like sweetie, honey etc. The guys were fairly nice and didnt seem to have anything towards me. But the two ladies(owners or the workers not sure) were extremely bothered by me being there. I am a color of person and do have an accent that is fairly noticable. As soon as I started speaking I could tell that this lady started giving me a weird look. Then when I asked her if they had any live baits she quietly said blood warms. I couldnt hear her so I asked her to repeat what she said and she then very slowly said “bloooooooddd wooormss” which sounded like she was definitely saying that because I had an accent. I will definitely not be going back to this establishment considering it seems like they do not want any person of color to be present. I also want to add that there were some hispanic people in the store who also didnt speak well english and I did hear the staff not really being nice to the family and saying stuff like “how do you not understand”. I dont think this is acceptabe I just wanted to share my experience with more people so you’ll know what you are...

My experience in this place was not as good as the experience most of people have had according to the reviews I read. Personally speaking, I consider that the prices for the fish gear and other products aren’t as expensive as I thought. Nevertheless, oh lord! I am so disappointed with the seafood taste and price. I know that food at beaches are not cheap but they should at least taste good. The two choice plate cost around $14.99 but had very little food on it. My partner, his cousin and I ordered two choices, I ordered shrimp and flounder, he ordered shrimp and oyster and his cousin the same as me. We received our order, the workers were polite and gentle but when we left the store and tasted the food, it was salty as hell. The shrimp was super salty as well as the flounder. The oysters did not taste at all like oysters. To be honest, I have never left seafood in a plate because I am passionate about seafood but this time I was able to eat only about 60% of it. I don’t complain about the price but about the quality. My partner and his cousin weren’t able to eat all of the food either. For the next time I visit this store and order something, I hope I may be able to...
