Okay first of all they are repaving the parking lot and I had to park far away from the front door and it's a very hot day today. But I understand these things have to be done. In addition they are also moving everything around in the store so I had a really hard time finding things. I normally get the Kroger Senior weight control dog food however they were out or they're not carrying it anymore I don't know. So I got the dog food for small breed dogs that I used to buy before I started getting the weight control. When I got to the cash register the cashier noticed that there was a hole in the bag of dog food and a young man volunteered to go get me another bag I told him he could just tape it if you wanted but he went back to get a new one and came back and said there wasn't any more and taped up the bag for me which I thought was very nice however I do believe they should have offered me a discount at that point. There was no price listed for the 2 lb bag of Kroger Brand carrots. I pointed out to the cashier that a product had a markdown sticker on it and to make sure she got the markdown sticker and I see that it rang up as the regular price so now I'll have to go fix that. I am a senior at 59 years old and I've been shopping at Kroger for as long as I can remember. The Kroger in Buford Georgia that was the closest to my house closed and now I have to go further and I don't get the senior discount anymore. Now I'm being forced to shop at a broken down Mercado Fresco that used to be my favorite Quality Foods store closest to my house. And the Big Lots that's in the same Shopping Center. Today I decided to go out of my way twice as far to the Kroger at Peachtree Industrial and Suwanee Lawrenceville. The commercials say enjoy our new low prices but the only new low prices that I find are in the...
Read moreHorrible customer service. I shop here all the time and I’ve always had generally positive experiences until today and I will no longer be shopping here. The older woman that oversees the self checkout is very condescending when the machine doesn’t work properly and she has to explain. She was very rude when I asked for a price adjustment as there were different prices on their app vs in store and when I tried to explain she rudely hushed me and then got upset when I told her I needed another price adjustment for a different item. The manager, Chase Glass, was very unhelpful and told me they don’t price match to their online prices they only price match their in-store prices…which doesn’t make any sense since I’m scanning the items in store with my phone and that’s the price that comes up, I scanned some other items that were true to their in store prices so it seems like a problem on their end. Either way nothing was resolved and these employees were largely unhelpful and don’t want to help their customers save money. The problem is even if I tried to order it online and pick up in store, krogers pick up policy is horrible and they will change the prices based on the day/sales so you’re not even guaranteed the amount you pay when you purchase for pickup as it’s an “estimate” and you only get the final price upon picking up and they would go based of their in store price. I also noticed this store took off the pick up option for these items when I left so they wouldn’t have to sell them at the lower price. Very scammy. Very disappointed. Go to different location or just not a Kroger at all until they change...
Read moreThis store has run the gambit of having some of the best employees to the worst over the last decade, it used to be a shining example of how a grocery can, not only be well run in a general sense, but also ensure that all it's customers be cared for in every respect....whether it meant stocking specialty items or assisting the many elderly or disabled patrons who frequently shop there. There was just an attention to detail that has all but completely disappeared. Sadly, after the new Kroger on Hwy 20 in Sugar Hill opened, the Suwanee, Peachtree Industrial, location began to steadily go down hill. It isn't about the older aesthetics or the smaller deli/bakery/produce departments....it's due to an almost complete lack of concern for customer care, store organization, cleanliness and overall professionalism. The new manager is clearly not taking his job seriously or possibly the position is too much responsibility for one so young....although in all fairness, the decline in this store began long before he became manager, but it has reached an all time low in regards to customer care and courtesy under his care. On the positive side, although the pharmacy still has no drive thru, it's still open 24 hours and that is a...
