I have been searching high and low for a nail salon, and this one was a top contender. I definitely have more pros than cons, so let’s get started!
Milo - Super cute young man that is a phenomenal receptionist. He listens to your concerns and gives great customer service. He would be a reason that I would continue to come back.
Girl receptionist - bubbly, but tends to say a little to much to customers that can rub you the wrong way. Yesterday, 9/23, she told my friend “well, you have to stop going to just any body.” Now, why would you say something like that. She only had one person ever do her nails, and if someone didn’t provide you with great service…shouldn’t you know so they can work on it? It was the overall tone. I also have to say that you want to go to a nail parlor where it doesn’t matter if your favorite is available or not because every one is good. And the only way you can determine that if someone else attended to you. Any way it happened through a pedicure service.
I love the setup of this salon. I kind of enjoy there are more pedicure chairs in the back so as people are coming in, they are not staring at you while you are falling asleep because the nail technician is so great…☺️👍🏽.
Now, if I could give shoutouts to people who have tended to my friend and I…Lily, Anthony, Hailey, and Amy!!! Woot Woot!!! Just thank you so much for making our stressful days better.
Now the only thing I would suggest to this business…when your nail technician has to go, please let them go. No one wants a poorly rushed job on their nails. Self care is vital to many, and people spend a lot of money on self care. To have one person have a manicure that is 20 minutes shorter because someone was in a rush to leave OR period is not good. ESPECIALLY, when the customer said to please go and enjoy the rest of your day prior to arriving. Things happen…I get it!! But to do my nails, in a rush, and they fall off after a week…NO BUENO!!! I did come back to get the first one taken care of, but within 2 hours two more came off and I was already traveling. Now, I’m not going to mention this technicians name, because it could have been a bad day for them. Just words of wisdom…Next time just leave.
Will I be back…hopefully, but after that comment made to my friend by the girl receptionist…it might be...
Read moreBeware of credit card fraud!!! My wife walked into the pluse located located at the suwanee town center to purchase a 40$ gift card for a family member. She reported that the Asian guy with glasses seemed really off he took my debt card and went off to the side with his back to my wife to charge my card for 40$ and apply it to a gift card, but it took him 10 minutes to do it and in that 10 minutes he was very nervous walking back and forth. At first my wife said it seemed off but because the guy was so nice she brushed it off. I received a recite for the transaction saying they charged my card but there was no actual charge on my bank statement matching the recite which means he manually inputed the amount on the recite and swiped my card to grab the info off it to commit fraud. That next morning I received call from my bank asking if I made a purchase for 260$ at homedepot which I did not. Then looking into my account I saw multiple transactions for 213$ and 306$. There was a total of 777$ that was taken out at random stores before I cought on and canceled my card. Once I disputed the charges and reported fraud I took the gift recite and card back at the location in suwanne to confront. As soon as I walked In I saw the guy that matched the description my wife described he seemed young and very nice but was nervous from the moment I walked in. His first words to me was what happened! I never said a word to him at first so hearing that I was thrown off and I said to him fraud happened and he responded yes but what happened. That sparked a 5 min conversation on what happened. The guy seemed very nervous and quiet when the manager came up to take over the conversation.
Please anyone using cards to pay for nail or anything at this pulse location keep a close eye on your account and if anything seems off act fast before they drain your account. Know my issue happened at this location if it happens to anyone else most Likely it's the same location and...
Read moreTerrible experience. I felt like I was being judged from the moment I walked in. I guess they thought I wouldn't tip much...and after my experience that assumption was correct. Went in there today with a coworker of mine and (after being rudely greeted with "what do you want") I requested a basic French manicure with a slight design. The guy who did my nails was making faces and giggling with the woman next to him who was doing my friend's nails. It felt very odd but we brushed it off.
He began doing my nails and I noticed rather quickly that he didn't really know what he was doing. He put one of my nails on slanted and his filing was off. None of my nails were matching in length and it was so bad I just told him not to do the design. I of course made up an excuse to be kind about the situation because after asking about the crooked nail he was rather rude...however after telling him I didn't want the design he simply applied a clear coat and got up and left.
I received no moisturizing treatment that I saw other customers getting and not even a "thank you". I asked aloud to another woman standing by (because he was no where to be seen after 10 minutes) "do I not get the same treatment as everyone else"? And she sent the manager over to give me one.
I am not a difficult customer and after working in the service industry and customer service for years I know how to treat people...and tip people. This was just an all around horrible experience and terrible work. I've attached photos. There is glue around my cuticles and spacing in my nails from ill-fitting and straight up not caring. Not to mention they failed to clip the excess skin. I could have done this at home...and saved...
