DXL Big + Tall — Attraction in Swatara Township

I meant to write this one a while back, about two months ago I was driving to Harrisburg for a wedding later in the evening, I had originally intended to grab a suit from storage but couldnt find them so instead I hit about 7 stores up on the way to this one. By the time I got here I had about 90 mins till the wedding so I was just running in to see if they had anything, I'm tall but not super huge so even big and tall stores can be a coin flip.

Well I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice younger guy but I told him I was just looking. I got to the back where one of the salespeople were at, she greeted me but again "just looking" but she says "what for?" I said I needed a suit within an hour...I said I brought a brown belt and shoes and a Burberry tie, I looked over at a light charcoal suit and she said yeah that's the one (it was, sick read by her), she called someone for help and within 20 mins had me walking out the door with suit, shirt, socks etc... while we were getting it ask figured out the young guy was helping me too and said "just looking" 🤣. Just a fantastic experience, I lost my receipt but they def know who they were...

Very nice clothing store but I was pulled in by the 75% off clearance but associate there advised that it was all gone and only the 50% was left. I didn't buy anything because I tend to be very thrifty when it comes to clothing. I realized they can't take down the sign but it would be nice if they could just cross it out with a marker and write 50%.

2021-03-20 walked into the store today and was greeted by an associate who asked if there was anything I was looking for. I asked to see the 75% off section. She said there was not much at all and practically nothing in the 75% but most of it was 25% off. I said I was looking for some cargo pants. She said I was 6 months late looking for cargo pants. I went to the reduced section and I found a pair of cargo pants. I asked her what percentage off they were and they were 75% off. She seemed to have a very mean attitude toward me like I was wasting her time. I bought the pants but even during the ringing up process she seemed perturbed that she had to wait on me. I'm dropping my four-star rating...

Was around and got curious about the store so I decided to walk in and take a look. Immediately was approached by a female employee that was trying hard to discourage me from even being in the store because I was "too small" according to her exact words. I get that you guys have specific target audience and you are successful in your own business area, but that was no way to treat everyday people who just want to look around in your store. As a Penn State MBA student and a business owner myself, I'm confident to say that mutual respect to people who are not your regular customers are as important as being nice to your target segment. I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you guys because I know you guys know better than pushing people away and...
