So we went to see "Angel has fallen" on sept 10th at 915pm... its out first time here, so we parked in the parking lot in front of the building, by the whole foods, but discovered there were signs posted saying not to park there if youre going to envision.. so we enter the parking garage confused as to where to park.. so we parked on level p4, and went up 2 levels via escalator. You can catch the elevator also lol. The escalator took us to the front entrance of the building, and we had to go up one last one, which put us at pies and pints. Once on the 2nd level, Youll have to walk outside to get to the front door of the theater, until the elevator is fixed inside of the theater... ok so we enter, the ticket desk was to the left and the bar, or what seemed to be a bar was to the right soon as you walk in the door.. so the guy scanned my phone since I paid online, gave us 2 menus and told us where to go. The theater has a new car smell lol. We were the only ones in the theater. I discovered that the seats not only recline, they're heated also! So once we figured out what we wanted we pressed the button on the seat, and the waiter came and took our order. I ordered a bucket of madtree "rotating" which means seasonal, but the list he showed me didn't have madtree listed. Ok, i picked another local, but was told they may not be bottled and would be brought to us in glasses, my girl lol'ed and said just get bud light, so i did. I ordered the gourmet fries, applewood bacon and cheese, the lady ordered corn dogs and some kinda truffle fries.. food came maybe 7-10 mins later... i also wanna add that the sound is amazing, it was turned up also!!! Nothing like explosions and gunfights.. so the the food comes, the waiter was incredibly nice also.. the portions are nicely sized for the price. For the record i didn't think to take pics of the food, so i ordered a 2nd batch of fries just to take pics of it! It was 10:36pm when he arrived and said that the kitchen was done serving food and was about to clean, but was waiting to see what his boss would say.. his boss said theyll make the fries! I felt like a VIP!!! If you want food, order before 1030pm! So, this theater is about the experience. When i asked for napkins, they're rolled like eggrolls and have a wetnap inside! Tickets are 12.50 per adult, and the food may seem highly priced, but as i said it about the experience, i think its all worth it! I will be returning to see Rambo in a few weeks, ill be bringing 2 other friends with me. This place is a winner, the food is great, service is awesome and the sound.. sounds like a movie theater should! Before going, look at the menu first, oh and did Imention they fill growlers?!?! Perfect place...
Read moreWe purchased our tickets online having never been to this theatre after looking at photos online. So here is an honest review.
First off the photos are from the OLD theatre, they are not where you will be visiting now. Which was very confusing when we got there.
It was difficult to figure out how to even get inside and get to the theatre. Then there was no concession stand, like at all! I had to ask the lady at the counter and she explained all ordering is done from your seat.
As a previous review states the theatre, the whole building, smells off. Itâs not the mall, itâs that place. I needed to change as fast as I could when I got home. It feels like you are entering a horror movie when walking those cold halls. Worst vibe for date night EVER.
Ordering from your seat involves pushing a button and waiting ten LONG minutes for people to come, and they donât come in order that they are pushed because I pushed before someone next to me and was helped later. She came and took my order and then she came back another ten minutes or so later carrying our sodas, in OPEN glasses, with no lids! Are you kidding me! Who feels ok having someone walk your drink from god knows where with no lid on it, tucked under her arm like that? A call to the health department is happening in the morning! She swiped my card and off she went. Later theyâll return with a slip wanting a tip for this service as well. No freaking thank you.
You canât smell a hint of popcorn anywhere in that building, or food, even though your at the movies sure feels like your in someoneâs basement being served open container liquids and popcorn in silver bowls. Yikes.
Now the âluxuryâ chairs that left us both wishing we were sitting anywhere but in them, they are far from luxury. You canât sit quite straight and you canât fully recline. When you stand the whole chair lifts forward off the floor. There is ZERO space between you and the person next to you, you share a 6â arm with a stranger.
If I could rate this negative stars I absolutely would. If the theatre chooses to respond, I hope itâs with a way to issue me a full refund, otherwise please do not bother! I hope everyone takes the time to read this before venturing this this total TRASH CAN FIRE...
Read moreKenwood Theatre has always been a great cinema with affordable food options and a great dining experience along with a decent movie selection, but lately the theatre has been on a slow decline. We went to the theatre on 2/23/2025 to watch the new Paddington in Peru movie in theatre 6. The seats were amazing, and the heating feature is a highlight that no other theatreâs include, the movie was good as well. The main issue of this review is the service and dining experience that has been declining after the rename to âKenwood Theatreâ. This movie theater has an in-movie menu which you can order off, and you will be served the food quickly. Unfortunately, that wasnât the case here. When entering our theatre, we got to our seats and pressed the service button, then we looked over the menu and chose what we wanted. Afterwards, most of the theatre arrived, and also pressed their buttons when the waiter finally came to start taking orders, our order was taken dead last just about as the movie was about to start. We had to wait 20 minutes for our order to be taken. This is not the end of it, first we were mixed up our drink order, afterwards it took them approximately 45 minutes to deliver our food. This was concerning, they had always delivered our food within a 15 minutes and the theatre wasnât any more packed than some other visits? Our order again, got mixed up with the family sitting beside ours. Also, the menu was a bit unreasonable, a Philly cheesesteak cost us $16, and an small, approximately 6 inch pizza cost $7-$8, the pizza was definitely not enough to fill us, although we didnât expect it too, it was even smaller than we imagined. I love Kenwood Theatre but lately, their service and food affordability has vanished and we are disappointed with this visit. We hope that Kenwood Theatre can improve on their service, and provide more people with a better experience like...
