9-13-21 This park has great energy. We actually went out into the lake where there normally would be đź’§ water a least 12" or deeper. Did our energy work and went and hugged some trees awesome. Saw the dam and fish in the river the photos aren't great but you can definitely see fish. Plenty of photos here. Also they have bathrooms. Blessings, John

William B. Layton Park is a nice tiny park in Tahoe City. It has the Lake Tahoe Dam, a small museum, and access to the outlet of Lake Tahoe and a small beach. Not the best to spend a full day at but nice to see if in the area.

Great little park next to the Dam which contains quite a few picnic tables near the lake side where you can enjoy the views of the lake and mountains in the distance. Tons of geese near the water's edge when we went.

Great little park. It's Layton park, but, the locals and some of us - we know it as where you park to go to "FANNY BRIDGE" .. we call it that because - when the fish are running - and - there's always fish in the water on the stream side of the dam - there's always a crowd looking over the railing, and, as you guessed it, it looks like a plumber convention on the bridge, once in a while. More often than not. So - you see everyone's and show everyone your fanny. Even in the drought years - there fish in that little puddle. You cannot fish there - but - there's some bigg'uns once in a while. Town is nice and close .. so .. day hiking to a nice eatery or drinkery (?), well, we'll call it that, is not out of the question. Bring a picnic. Show your fanny, and...

Pay attention or you'll miss it. Nestled in the trees near the outlet for Lake Tahoe and beginning of the truckee river. See fish heading downstream. There is a very nice museum here as well along with the required gift shop. Worth your time. There are also many picnic tables with a nice view of the lake. Bring your own...
