Town Center Laundromat — Attraction in Temecula

I am changing my review to 5 stars because the man that works there TOTALLY 100% OUTWEIGHS that mean old lady. He is so nice and courteous and has total integrity! (He found my bracelet on the floor and held onto it until I came back to get my laundry & gave it to me!) I was so stoked. So thoughtful :)

I’m not even mad about that lady anymore — this place is the best!

I’ve been a valued customer here for a while now. I have never had an issue here... until now. I gave myself a 20 minute cool off period before writing this review because I wanted to at least be fair and not just bash them out of frustration. (Because I was DEFINITELY frustrated!)

So, now that I've cooled down a bit (I'm still very annoyed but nonetheless calm), I'll proceed:

I have been here several times. I come here for all my laundry needs. On average, I come once a week. I have never minded the prices (because yes they are high) since the equipment and overall facility, I feel, makes up for it. I like that you can just swipe your debit card to do laundry without having to worry about having any quarters or dollar bills. I wouldn't even dock a star for how busy it is at times! Cause it gets REALLY busy to the point of annoyance. But still, before tonight, I would've no doubt rated this place 5 stars.

Why have I dropped it down to 2? — the RUDE older lady with the short black hair! I have NEVER had an issue with ANY other employee - in fact, I've had nothing but good things to say about all their employees! But that lady... Psh. She really made me not want to come back.

I finished getting all my dirty clothes ready to go from the car and so I walk inside the laundromat to get a cart at around 8:15-8:20. I knew they do last wash at 8:30 so I made sure I was there ON TIME to load it up and get it going BEFORE the deadline. I have even just scraped by being a few minutes AT AFTER 8:30 because the younger male employee is NICE! & really cool like that. I've never witnessed him being mean or rude to anyone! Which is basically the case with the rest of the employees except the older woman!! & I see other reviewers had similar negative things to say about her.

I had taken so much time that night getting my laundry together and having it ALL READY to GO! I had work the next morning and I in NO way expected to be told "no". She wouldn't even let me speak! She's one of those nasty people that seems to snap at everyone.

Completely ruined it for me. If she is there I will go...

If I could put no stars I would. First and last time I will ever step foot in this place. The audacity of the older Hispanic guy working there on December 5th at 6pm baffles me. I just moved to the area and read the reviews so decided to come here for the first time. I put my clothes to wash, put my basket in my car and walked to the target that is connected to this place, I come back 35 minutes later to find a couple loading their laundry into the machine I had, I freak out asking anyone around if they know where my clothes went. A nice woman told me that the maintenance guy took all of my clothes, I am furious and try to find him, I found all of my wet clothes thrown in a basket just left out for anyone to come and take. I find the guy and I asked him why he removed my clothes and he said management told him he is allowed to, I am a female and a man with dirty gloves that he has been using to do who knows what with just took all of my clean clothes out of the washer and left it out for everyone to see and possibly steal. I feel violated and that I paid for nothing because now I don't believe my clothes are clean. He claims he took them out because someone was waiting for the washer.... sir if you are so concerned about people waiting for washers why are you using 4 washers at a time to wash your personal items while on the clock causing paying customers to wait? And yes I did watch you the entire time my clothes were drying, they are not clean anymore since you touched them and I am not paying to wash them again and be stuck there any longer. I walked around that entire place looking for signs stating anything about a time limit for how long clothes can be in there and there were multiple loads sitting in the dryers completely done before my clothes even went in and he didn't take any of those clothes out so why mine? The lack of respect this place has for paying customers personal items is amazing, I wish I never would have wasted my money or time here I have never felt so...

My opinion is this place is the Best laundromat in the Western US. I am a full-time RV person and travel extensively throughout the western US. Laundromats are a necessity for me. One of the first things I do when arriving at a new location is review the local laundromats. Items of interest to me are location, cleanliness, price, facility choice of machines, parking, employee helpfulness and overall feel of the facility. I discovered the Town Center Laundry approximately 8 years ago and “This place is great! They have a wide selection of all kinds of washers, a very clean facility, reasonable prices and the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve encountered in a long time. In fact, most laundromats are not staffed and don’t have anyone to assist you. Without hesitation, I visit Town Center Laundry whenever I am in or near Temecula, California. I recently arrived back in the Temecula area and one of my first needs was a laundromat and without question returned to the Town Center Laundry. I was not disappointed. Management has upgraded the place with new and more powerful washers and in different capacities. I did not look at the price or capacity until I loaded my clothes into the washer. That is when I met Rosie, she pointed out that I could have used a much smaller machine and saved money. Rosie was also helpful in pointing out the locations machines I could have used. Another staff member, I did not get his name, helped me clean up a soap spill I had made. Both staff members were friendly and knowledgeable and were extremely helpful.
