Costco Optical Department — Attraction in Teterboro

This is the best place to get eyeglasses. The manager, James Brown, not only has a cool name but he's a really cool guy. He's very intelligent but most of all very kind. I was upset the day I went in there which had nothing to do with him but have been through cancer for the 3rd time and recently as well and having a bad pain day. He was so nice to me and helped me out with my eyeglass insurance and when I walked out I only had to pay $35 for lenses which is a great price. Free frames with my insurance. I was there to get regular single vision glasses for watching TV but last year I went there for my prescriptive lenses and I dealt with Stan and he was great as well. Both James and Stan are an asset to this company and they have a very nice selection of frames but most of all the employees are just really good at their jobs and I never have a problem seeing when I get glasses there. For years I went to lenscrafters and other big commercial chains and I always had some kind of a problem where there was something wrong with one of the lenses or I couldn't see great but when I go to Costco everything's great right away and the glasses look great. When I got my prescriptive lenses there with a new frame last year, everybody admired the frame. James managed to turn my day around from being really sad and crying when I first walked in to being in a really good mood and then my other half and I were able to go shopping after paying for my glasses. We bought a lot of great stuff at the store so it worked out really nice. If the manager wasn't so nice I don't think I would have been in the mood to keep shopping but he was just such a kind,...

Great place to get glasses. Affordable and stylish. I purchased two pairs of prescription glasses (regular and sunglasses). Both are high index, scratch resistant, and anti reflective. The sunglasses here are all polarized without having to pay extra. The final price was $250 for both pairs. The staff was helpful and courteous. The wait at the store was not long and my glasses arrived within a week as promised. I usually get my glasses at my eye doctor as my insurance covers them but this year they wouldn't and my doctor was going to charge me about $800 for the two pairs. I was prepared to pay for the one pair but when my insurance wouldn't cover even one pair of glasses I decided to look elsewhere and I'm so glad I did. Costco is much cheaper and they have a decent selection of eyeglasses. The glasses come with a case and a costco microfiber cloth. The cloth I'm not a fan of as it always leaves smudges on my eyeglasses which I don't like. The Kirkland microfiber cloth which you can purchase for an additional five bucks from them is much better. It comes with two bottles of lens cleaner that they told me they refill for free. So I just use the Costco microfiber cloth to clean the frame and Kirkland microfiber cloth...

Nasty lady from the vision department… had trouble seeing with my eyes… and came near the desk for help, spanish looking lady in a face mask and face shield said… just wait over there, “come on people read the sign” in a nasty voice and nasty gesture. Ironic she works in the vision department. Just needed help with my eyes. People like her dont care. People like her make me hate coming to Costco. Rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. Do costco and its customers a favor. Fire her...
