I love frozen yogurt, so 16 Handles is a nice place to fill that craving. The place is clean, and never crowded when I go. However, no matter how much I may enjoy the food and appreciate the cleanliness, I am a stickler for customer service. This location in particular either needs better management or overall new employees. For starters, employees should not be behind the counter on their phones (texting or making calls), especially when customers are present. Both times I have gone to this location, the single employee behind the counter was texting on their phone when I entered, while I was getting items, while I was asking questions, and while I was leaving. I get that when it's slow you want to occupy your time, but not when a customer is present. Tonight, I watched as the girl behind the counter texted the whole time a gentlemen was at the counter. On occasions, customers aren't greeted when they walk in. There has got to be better customer service.
Would I recommend? If adequate customer service matters to you, then no, not...
Read moreI decided come here for some ice cream tonight and had a horrible experience. Not only was the place very dirty and my shoes stuck to the floor as I walked around, but more than half of the ice cream machines were broken, “sold out” or had poorly printed paper signs instead of the digital. the place just looks very run down and not only that, there was only one girl working there who seemed very overwhelmed. she couldn’t juggle being at the register while also handling everything else going on, she wasn’t at the register while I was paying and when she returned didn’t offer to even give me a receipt. I don’t fault her, but the management is clearly poor. Pick a different 16 handles location or just a different restaurant all together to...
Read moreSo everything was going fine, we enjoyed our frozen yogurt. But the service, that is a different story. We were going to pay and one of the two girls behind the counter out of nowhere accuses me of staring at her and asks "Is there something wrong with me? Why are you looking at me?". First off, DO NOT COME AT ME LIKE THAT. Second, I have worked in customer service my whole life, if you want someone's business you do not come at a customer all rude. Sorry if looking at you too long while I am trying to pay makes you insecure. Never have I had to deal with such a bizarre situation. I'm out here trying to enjoy my frozen yogurt and she is trying to pick a fight with a...
