Great cheap place for steaks and all types of food. I would definitely recommend their country fried chicken. Your entree comes with two sides. I would say this place is great place to go out to dinner on budget. Drinks aren’t strong at all. You’re gonna need to add three kickers to it or just drink beer. They got really big beers and they are always cold. One thing I would recommend is that they move the computer that’s right by the bar. Sitting in that spot as a customer feels very weird. You shouldn’t have a worker right next to you typing in a computer for orders or simply move it further down. I don’t like when people get that close to me. It felt like I can barely eat with the constant workers coming and typing on that thing with our house practically touching. Besides that I have had a majority of good meals here but sometimes you do get a few bad ones depending who’s cooking. Some steaks can be really fatty. This is just an honest review: I’ve had more good than bad though. The people that work here is the one of the reasons I come back. The workers are absolutely amazing. Even when I do get something bad with my meal I tend not to complain bc it’s a cheap meal, friendly faves, and good environment. It can be very loud in there which is something I don’t mind at all. The wait time can be a bit crazy. You’re not guaranteed a reservation but you get a time slot. You need to join their waitlist on their website: it will ask you how many guest and you submit your info and it will reveal the wait time. I usually do this and I text here when I get there and I’m usually out on line right away and So are a few other people. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you just wanna walk out because the timings messed up. Summer hours are usually easier to get tables. The winter time it’s gets PACKED. Just an fyi if you join the wait list and it says 45 mins… make sure you get to the place and text here or atleast text here from your phone if you live close by bc I believe that times starts counting down from once you are there. I’m really not too sure though, but that seems like the case for me. I’m used to going to the bar. I hope I don’t spell his name incorrectly but Christoff is amazing and super funny! I highly recommend going to...
Read moreJust wanted to give advice to future patrons who use the wait list on a super weekend. As this was the first time using it and my confusion made us wait over an hour for a table for a party of 3. Basically the wait list is kind of pointless because you still have to wait once you arrive at the restaurant. I checked in with a guy with a tablet and he said to wait for a text message. 35 min later I got a text message to go to the host stand to be placed on deck. To my confusion I thought it meant that we can stand BY the host stand where they have “on deck” signs for our name to be called, not knowing we needed to check in AGAIN with the host. After waiting 30 more minutes by the on deck signs, I asked the host and she said our table was ready 30 min ago but no one showed up. And I’m like no one called us we were right here. Then she just said “the text meant you need to check in with me, then we’ll add your name to the on deck list”. She then re added our names again so now we had to wait again. I’m a very efficient/literal person, so tell me how that makes sense, because that is more work and stress for the host people to have to check in people 2 times. They should change the wording of the text to be more specific like “please gather your party and check in with the host to be placed with a table”. Because I read that text a million times and didn’t think that we needed to talk to someone again. Or just remove that 2nd check in and tell customers to just proceed to “on deck” and if they’re not there when called, then remove their name. I think I also was just tired of waiting and was very hungry at that point that made me read it differently. Well we just went to the bar where luckily there were open seats. They called our name like 15 min later and shouted back We’re here at the bar already drinking and eating. The only good experience was that Our bartender was so courteous to us and we got the food pretty fast. I miss the days where they hand you that square light thingy and it vibrates when your table is ready. Wouldn’t recommend coming here on a busy weekend. And if you’re just a small party just...
Read moreTexas Roadhouse use to be my all time favorite spot for special occasions, date nights, friend get togethers, everything. I haven’t been to the teterboro location in a little while, and I was very unpleasantly surprised when we were showed to our table. They set up these brand new 2 seater tables in the middle of walkways. It was unbelievable. I had date night with not only my boyfriend, but with the strangers to our right, and the booth of 3 to our left. We were on top of each other so I said hello to each side as we sat down. I’m not kidding when I say I could reach my arm to my side and touch them by accident. I opened my fold out menu which was bigger than our table and a sever walked past and bumped it out of my hand on accident because there’s no room to walk by. In the middle of my meal I was smacked in the face with a jacket because the people in the booth were gathering their things to leave, not their fault, again it was because there was no room to move at all. The negligence of this business for customer satisfaction and safety is crazy. Adding tables that weren’t ever there originally just to stack people on top of each other to make even more money than you already do is completely unacceptable. You pay good money to eat out just to be treated like cattle? I’m 5 feet tall and a hundred pounds and I was in the way of everyone, now imagine sticking an average sized man in the same spot I was put in, servers had to walk sideways just to get past me. If the jacket hitting my face wasn’t a cherry on top of everything, we waited an hour to receive our food (just dinner, no appetizers or anything) 2 meals, an hour wait after placing the order because you overpacked the place with people shoved into made up table placements. I wonder what the health, safety and fire codes are, genuinely. It doesn’t make sense or seem safe. Bad job on management. Servers were so pleasant despite having to dip and dodge the extra tables. Google review won’t allow me to attach the video I took showing how I could’ve played footsies with the people next to me. Thanks for an uncomfortable...
