Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Teterboro

I’ve been wanting to try Blaze Pizza because I love the concept of a Build Your Own Pizza. I’ve tried a competitor’s before and enjoyed it, so I was sure I would like Blaze as well. I came in on Pi day at 11:30, when any pie was $3.14. There was a line but the wait from beginning to when I received my pizza was about 20 minutes. I did the build your own pie and went for half spicy red sauce and half garlic pesto for the sauce. For toppings, I went all out - I had meatball, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, spinach, banana peppers, artichokes, roasted garlic, mushrooms, red onion, and arugula for a finishing topping. I didn’t do any of the finishing sauces, which included balsamic, olive oil, and ranch. I wish they had hot honey but it’s not a deal breaker. If you can’t decide on your toppings, they have their own specialty pies for you to choose from as well.

Is it the best pizza? No, of course not. But will you have a great/fun experience? Yes! It’s better than Domino’s but not better than your local pizzeria. OMG!!! I swear this place is the bomb! It's like the chipotle of pizza, I absolutely loved both my food as well as the service I received. Food wise, everything was fresh and ready at a point of a finger and a node of my head. As for my service, I tip my hat, working with food and extremely big crowds of hungry people could be like feeding time at the zoo. People tend to get a bit impatient and angry but the staff here was very comfortable and at ease with the pressure. They stayed fun and energetic while they assisted me and everyone behind me. Of course when it's busy there's always some type of complications (Murphy's Law). The girl who attempted to ring up my order couldn't log on or cash out my order. She called over a guy named Gil (who I would assume was the manager) he apologize for the inconvenience and comped my meal. The team work was excellent! On top of my great service and excellent food, the atmosphere was all good vibes and very clean. I swear once you have pizza from here you will never want to go any place else. $8-$10 for a pizza depending on what type of crust (they even have a gluten-free crust) you get & all the toppings you want, you...

If you're going to do it you got to build your own 😎 You really got to try the garlic pesto as a base sauce. It's unbelievable!! But I'm a little crazy with my pizza. I'm one of those people that do like pineapple on their Pizza as well as roasted garlic as well as sausage and lots of cheese and then the best is the top it with a balsamic drizzle! My kids think I'm crazy but that's okay. At my age I can have my pizza the way I want. I cannot believe how fast they get people's orders down and into the oven. It's awesome! It's always clean. The staff is very friendly and anybody can find a personal favorite there. There's no way they can't! Be creative.
