REI — Attraction in Town and Country

I shop here every once and a while in hopes of finding quality shoes. Sounds easy right? Well not here, clearly. I really want to like the shoes here. I really want to find a shoe that actually does it’s job. Unfortunately, all I get here are worn down, defective merchandise. But like I said, I want to give this place a chance, so I purchased some items. A few days later…Ouch ouch ouch! These shoes are gonna make me develop neuroma! So, I do the logical thing and go back in the store to return them. I’ve returned the couple of shoes that have never been worn outside at all only to then be treated like a criminal! What? It’s not like I’m the one who sells broken down shoes to unsuspecting customers! I wasted my money on a membership only to be treated like this! The sales associate was giving me attitude for returning shoes that were injuring me. These people have the delusional complex in their mind that they’re the FBI! Please, don’t kid yourselves. Before I left, I saw one peering out at me from the back room with a menacing glare. Creepy… Take my advice and find a business that actually cares about the well-being of...

Went there on a Sunday afternoon with my Wife and Son, only to be watched like a hawk by a creepy bald male employee pretending to be shopping with a weird smirk on his face. Could totally tell it was an employee he had a dark green shirt on like the rest of the employees and went in the backroom twice. I know shoplifting is a bigger problem now days with inflation but just because you have a customer under 60 years of age, I also had a black jacket on (it was cold) doesn't make them a criminal. The employee just seemed way too overzealous which made for an uncomfortable shopping experience. The employee could have been a little more discreet but I think it was intentional. Had a blast at REI open house. I am so excited to have an REI close by. The staff at REI were friendly and helpful. I was also impressed by the staff's knowledge of products, willingness to give tips and pointers, their cheerfulness was awesome, and would listen to you intently.

The store itself was nicely laid out into individual outdoor activities. The sales and discounts were great. I even enjoyed talking with multiple vendors about their products. Made a number of purchases and will definitely make a lot more in the future.

If I could suggest anything, it would be nice to have a vendor weekend multiple times a year to learn more about various...
