First experience got my lashes done by Aaliyah. It took a while, which I did not mind because she took her time to give me what I wanted they came out beautiful. She inquired if this was my first time here I told her yes and I guess that she asked me because maybe they give a first time discount. So I was under the impression that I might have gotten a discount, I did not , I paid $90 and also gave a five dollar tip.

NOW here we go: second time there, was today, 01/10/2023 I had booked the appointment for Tuesday 11 AM, about two to three days ago . I got there at 10:52 . Another lady was there who I have not seen before, she asked if I was here for eyebrows, I said no I have a eyelash extension appointment today , she says she doesn’t do eyelashes I said OK but where is Aaliyah because I booked an appointment for today… she says “Aaliyah is at Walmart you can go there she is there she will take you. Do you know where it is?” I told her yes she said “ you will find her as soon as you walk in” under the impression she had her own set up within the Walmart, which already seemed odd to me , so I go down to the Walmart… now I will be a bit late for my 11 o’clock appointment although no one told me that there was a switch in location, even up to my reminder email they sent me there was no changes or warnings etc that there would be an issue or relocation. I go inside, since the Walmart is very big I call back the lady to ask where exactly would Aaliyah be stationed? She says Aaliyah works Mondays and Wednesdays , I say then why tell me to go to Walmart saying that Aaliyah is there ??? She then says come on Wednesday and immediately hangs up the phone. I called her back and tell her I cannot come Wednesday, I booked the appointment for Tuesday today because I’m off today I work every day this week except for Tuesday, why did you guys take the booking for Tuesday if Aaliyah would not be available for Tuesday , why not cancel the booking knowing that the eyelash person who does eyelashes would not be able to see me ?? Therefore she wasted my time and wasted my gas and I felt like I was just being ringed around all over the place, mind you it takes me 20 to 30 minutes to get to that place so you can understand my frustration . ( oh and sidenote when booking online it said that the eyelash extension price is $75 for the service so I’m a bit confused on why I paid $90… I wish I had Aaliyah’s number to speak with her directly because I know she would’ve been more professional and even confused as I am with all that I went through. ) Due to this with all that happened today I most certainly will not be going back, and the lady did not even apologize. I did however found a new place that does eyelash extensions and for only $40 dollars and they did a phenomenal job and was very quick so I’m happy I at least found my new eyelash location. Sorry Aaliyah, girl you lost me as a customer due to your coworker/booking inaccuracies but I wish you the best moving forward. ( I read other reviews and people said they paid $75 for the eyelash extension service so now I just feel that I was scammed/ripped off , why did I get charged $90 for my eyelash extension service? And I was nice enough to tip ….. I’m not someone who sues but I am in the legal field and this is VERY WRONG unjust and NOT legal!) ( & to the owner do not bother replying back with a copy and paste generic response about how my feedback will help you better your services, its CLEAR you are not authentically nor genuinely really responding back to your reviews,...

Do not go here, I repeat DO NOT GO HERE!

Scheduling: I booked online for 5:15, rushed out of work to get there on time, arrived at 5:11. When I arrived she already had 2 other customers, 1 getting her eyebrows done and the other waiting in the treatment room for her facial to be completed. I didn't get taken in until 5:45, normally I don't mind lateness, so that wasn't the biggest issue.

The space/Privacy: the space is rented in the corner of the dress, while there is a private room for certain treatments, it doesnt feel like it due to how she opens the door. She didn't leave the room when I was changing, instead waited until I was already partially done then walked out and opened the door nice and wide so everyone can see in. For some reason, the room smells like BO.

Service itself: terrible and unhygienic. I didn't notice this until the end, she didn't wear any gloves and kept using the same popsicle stick to pickup the wax. As in, would put the stick in the wax pot, pickup wax, applied the wax by touching the stick and wax to my skin, put the stick down and picked up the same stick and put it in the wax for the next atrip. She didn't change sticks at anytime during the service. Extremely unhygienic. I've been waxing for years, gone to multiple salons, not once have I seen this.

Products and technique: she did not use any baby powder before starting. Whatever product she's using isn't great, it's extremely sticky, left sticky residue everywhere, more then usual. She didn't give it a moment to set or pull the skin taut, I have several bruises now from where she didn't pull it taut and had to pull several times.

Customer service: even worse. Did not introduce herself, honestly not a big deal, she was rushed. Again, gave no privacy when changing or getting undresses, or mid service when she stepped out or opened the door. When it came time for payment I let her know o was using a Groupon and she made a face and when the barcode for the voucher wasn't in the same place she started getting very aggressive with me. After redeeming the barcode she didn't even say I was good to go, just started ignoring me.

I decided to come here yesterday after reading all these positive reviews about the place, thinking that they are really as professional as they claim to be. But honestly, this would be my first and last time over here! I came in for full face threading and the woman over there did it very quickly, leaving a lot of hair on my face. I had to literally point out every hair she left and even then she still didnt remove them, claiming that they were under the skin, when clearly they werent. Every place i have been to , they used to take their time and do their work efficiently.

This was my worst experience with any beauty salon ever. I really dont understand how they got a 5...
