I highly recommend not shopping here, on June 15th 2025 at 11:32 am I called this location regarding the availability of the switch 2 console, when I was told they were completely out of stock I was disappointed as this console was to be purchased for my 6 year old sons birthday which is approaching in 10 days. The woman on the phone then told me that if I came Into the store I would be able to order one directly with her and have it shipped presumably to my house. For context this store is 40 minutes away from my home, but to be able to purchase the switch 2 for my son, this would be worth it to me. I confirmed multiple times I was inquiring about the switch 2 and was assured and promised I could place the order in store, as they wouldn’t accept card payments over the phone. I arrived at the store and was greeted by a man working the tech help desk, he then explained to me that there was no possible way to complete or even start this transaction, I spoke to the woman who was working the desk on the phone and as soon as she heard me asking about it in store she walked away, this is a terrible and shady business practice and made me waste over an hour of my time just to be disappointed a second time,I will not be shopping at any staples locations anymore even though I’ve been a member for over 10 years and shop there almost daily. Read moreWhoever the girl is that worked in the copy center tonight (9/29/23) was really not pleasant to me. I placed a same day print order at 10am and called around 3:30 to see if the order was ready yet. She said it would be ready by 8:30, I said ok. I called again at 7:30 to see if there was any update and she told me my order had a lot of pieces and they were working on it. I asked if it would be ready by 8:30 and she said they’ll try. I said “well what happens if it’s not ready by 8:30?” And she said I could wait in the store while they try to finish it? What? Same day orders before 12pm are guaranteed by 8:30pm but ok? I showed up at 8:45pm to give her extra time complete the order. She greeted me with “can I help you?” And I said “I’m Steph I’m here for my pickup”… she turned around, said nothing, continued packing my box, walked it over and said “here you go” and walked away. There was no “sorry it took so long, have a good night, thank you” or anything. I am SO not one to complain but I spent $300+ on my order and I don’t think a little customer service would’ve killed anyone. I wanted to obtain some school supplies for my children so I came to staples knowing they had excellent back to school specials. Upon entering the store, I asked an associate about some of the products they advertised on the back to school sale. The associate then retrieved the aforementioned manager "Carol", to confirm some details about the sale. Carol came off as very hostile towards me and proceeded to talk down to the associate. I felt so bad for the associate for having to work under such horrible conditions. They did not deserve to be treated so badly for asking a simple question. Though the associates were rather helpful and I was able to obtain almost everything I needed, I cannot support a business where the managers treat associates so terribly.
